just to update..I have bought a sony a6000 mirrorless with kit lens. at first it felt awkward with the style but i am already get used to it. IQ is very good. i bought a lens adapter and i can still use all my Nikon lenses, with manual focus of course. but its not a problem with the focus peaking features. its fun to use. now im planing to get a few cheap prime lens nikon mount.
it is indeed a fun and yet a serious camera at the same time.
still looking buyers too buy D90 sad.gif. but i have no regret switching.

i m thinking bout this too.
but i always miss the DSLR capabilities which mirrorless cant do.
furthermore when people keep calling u "photographer" eventho you aren't and asking u to take the pictures for them.

depends which model of the mirrorless camera. in fact, plenty of mirrorless camera is capable for professional use

example A6000, A7S

Good choice, enjoy!

A6000 is also on my wish list once, but getting a good lens is very expensive, which is why I have fallen back to Omd Em5, the IS is just awesome! Now that omd em5 II is out, it will be my next upgrade.

Originally I was on the same thinking line, use the kit lens 16-50 then save enough for good lens like the 35/1.8 or the touit (which costs more than the body), but then I am scared I will miss the m4/3 line of lenses. Now that em5 ii is out, and the m4/3 keeps getting better, I will stick with the m4/3 for now.

I had an hands-on experience with the Sony A6000 a couple months back and I really like it a lot, the AF speed is blazing fast, its got Wi-Fi, HDR feature, 24mp on an apsc sensor and the list goes on. It really has a lot going for it. And i have watched some videos on the output of the a6000, they are really really good. My main concerns remains with the costs of its line of good lenses. Though the a6000 prices had come down a lot.

On the other hand, m4/3 had been turning out some good lenses which are really affordable, not to mention their pro-level lenses. Who knows what else they will come up with next.

But who knows what Sony might come out next, it's about time already,

Happy shooting everybody, and Happy Chap Goh Meh!

sony said it is not from olympus.

and frankly speaking, stabilizing a m43 sensor is totally different with stabilizing a FF sensor. 4 times larger and heavier?
