I feel none of the freebies useful.

Box - It is already free 50gb since my old Sony Ericsson phone, and it never stacked. I also prefer to use dropbox.

Myteksi - Never use public transport and never useful thing in Ipoh >.>

Qoo10 - Still no idea how the voucher works.

akazoo and free movie download - lol, i think most of us have better place to download.

Ok I saw it.

Is there anything I need to bring/do besides warranty card?
*
I think just warranty card and phone enough. If you worry then bring along your receipt.

BTW, did you try flashtool before?

No, scare will void warranty because I am a noob at this.
*
Flashtool will not void warranty.
Basically, the flashing method is similar with PCC but with manually and more advance mode.

What do you mean by "Ony if still within a week"? Means within this 7 days must demand 1 to 1 replacement? Why after this 7 days cannot?

Can you explain abit further.

I really don't get the logic behind this.
*
Within 1 week for date of purchase.
Not warranty days.

As stated by abang how.

Now you only can claim. Sometimes, if SC can't fix it, SC will 1-1 a new set for you.
I'm not sure how true is this as I heard it from direct customers.
*
If still within warranty period, and SC cannot repair, they confirm will replace one new for you.

My friend had a Xperia SL, spoiled and cannot be repaired.
And lucky thing for him, the phone also discontinued, they replaced him a Xperia V or T, i forgot.

How long was friend phone in the SC before they will replace new one?

Not bad, but too bad this is a new phone, so confirm I will get back Z3...
*
I forgot. Just confirm more than 1 week and less than 3 weeks.
Don't worry, they will settle until you satisfy lol.
Unless they found the mistake is caused by yourself, if not Sony will take full responsibility on it.

My experience with Sony SC @ Plaza Berjaya was a pleasant one. RMA one unit of SW2, replaced within 2 weeks, not to mentioned during CNY that time brows.gif
*
Service centre in there is Sony owned or outsourced?
SC Ipoh is outsourced. They repair many other phones like xiaomi, nokia....

QUOTE(hareharu @ Dec 18 2014, 04:49 PM)
Problem comes after updating the phone. Surely cannot be my fault.

When I get back my phone, maybe I don't want to update until warranty left 1 or 2 months, then install all the update all in 1 go.

If phone got problem again, maybe can get Xperia Z4, Z5  laugh.gif  drool.gif
*
Lol.
This is latest flagship. It won't discontinued before your warranty expired >.>

Z1 is just abit more than one year ago right? Wait another 8 or 9 months, still got stock or not?

Plus I think Sony 6 months flagship cycle isn't really popular with users. Sony states after Z4, it back to the usual 1 year 1 flagship cycle, which should boost Z4 sales. Why would Sony still produce alot of Z3 after Z4 comes out?

One more question, then your friend phone new phone is under what warranty? Totally new warranty (another 2 years etc) Consider same warranty as his old phone warranty? No warranty?
*
If not wrong, will extended 3 months warranty.

i am patiently stressing it.

Don't worry, you will buy a new phone before it dead lol.
Sony is a good quality phone. All of my SE/Sony phones survive more than 5 years.

add on - only the battery dies within 5 years.

well, Z Ultra is my 1st Sony phone.
*
I feel Sony's battery last longer than other brands too.
My K800i's battery died at the 4th year, but still managed to have 1 day standby time.
Most probably because Sony uses Li-Polymer cell?

if they are into quality then ok la.. but too bad, imho, lenovo is looking for sales only. Not too much in quality. just look at lenovo... it's cheap but is it that good?
*
My opinion, avoid lenovo.
My boss is using K910. Claim warranty within 2 weeks. The motor inside the camera spoil, cannot focus.
1 to 1 exchange with almost 2 weeks waiting.

Almost 4 months of using, the phone now will auto reboot / blackout without reason. Probably a fatal error is coming soon.
Other than that, the touch screen is insensitive. My boss complaint that, he need touch harder to take photo, so the phone move and the picture become blur lol.

i will only stick to HTC and Sony. the rest is a no for me.
last time i used Lenovo K900, and my complain is the fucuk battery life which cant even last me a day.
*
I never use brand other than Sony/SE since 10years ago.
I choose Sony not because of Sony, i love its design.
If one day, Sony comes out with some designs that i really dislike, HTC is my second choice.

Xiaomi is really a good low budget phone.

I still prefer their old slogan make believe.
Although they disappointed me about firmware update, for the first few generations of android phone.

It is nothing for the first 2 times.
I don't understand why it happened only for the 3rd time if there is some leaking.

is that really possible?where does the deleted files stored if already deleted?or after putting new files inside, there no way the deleted files can be restored because the m.card space?
how bout harddisk?
*
Normal delete / normal format are not really "clear" the files, but actually it is just deleting the "shortcut" of the file access. Just like a roadblock only. Some utilities software can clear the block, and build a new road for you to access the files again.

Full format or new files replaced in the space will totally clear the existing files. No way to restore it.
