that time my case is just back cover bulge out
so as long as didn't touch water then will be fine...
since the phone is still working so they just give back the phone to me until the spare part arrived

I really like controlling which app can get my location, can update at the background etc etc.

My Fiance phone got stuck with them for almost 4 weeks before i made a huge fuss with them. When i sent it the phone, it was barely 1 month old and water proof failed through speakers on the front. And they needed to wait for spare part from Sweden. I was like what???? Sweden? LOL. And takes 3 weeks??

At the end, i got the phone back and we had a mishap where the phone flew from our monopod and broke the screen. I would say, the built quality is really excellent. The drop was really major. About 1 1/2 storey and hit multiple large beach stones. And yet, everything works except touch. That costed me RM708 for screen replacement which comes together with the side frame. ANd now its like brand new, but no way using it under water again.

My Z1 also had no issues with water but after sending to this center, water proof started failing multiple times even now. No idea what they did. Fed up with their service already.

So please be careful on getting your devices under water.

FYI, Sony's sensor-on-lens technology (digitizer) is good in reducing screen thickness and touch experience but once smashed, you have high chances that you were f*cked.

Hi there... just bought z3 during lazada sales 12/12... main factor is due to waterproof feature so i can take picture under water... but since reading this forum, seems like the waterproof is not really waterproof...

anybody here taking picture under water using this z3?

Actually it is depend on luck.
But i admit that, Sony waterproof is not that so good. But i believe it work at 80%+.
You can read a lot of negative comments because most peoples will just diam diam when there is no problem.
And i believe most peoples didn't use it in water.

But the decision is on yours.

I never had any issues taking pictures with my previous Z1C and Z3 underwater. I have even tried using it at the beach but make sure you rinse the phone off properly after use.
