But rain x is hydrophobic, not oleophobic. Only repels water but not oil.

Regardless what, it's better to get Fusso. It's more last longing and it significantly reduces smudges than rain-x.

QUOTE(wc_how @ Dec 26 2014, 12:48 PM) I went to play water yesterday. I didn't use the phone under water, but the speaker at the bottom dipped into water once. this is normal. Now i have imbalance volume lol. Not sure when will back to normal. But i enjoy to bring phone to the pool, many peoples look at me and feel jelly lol. happens on the older models like Z also. after 2-3 hours it'll be fine. as its drying out during the process. |

I tried ultimateshield on my z1 before...the oleophobic coating really works but for temporally only..after few weeks the coating gone...and it was smooth and nice to touch...
Using niklin h+ at the moment and can say i prefer to smoothness of ultimateshield, but too bad all these coating are temp only.. |

IMOS still have better oleophobic coating, and it even last longer.Using niklin h+ at the moment and can say i prefer to smoothness of ultimateshield, but too bad all these coating are temp only.. but once you tried IMOS Solid EX, you will never go for other brands anymore. |

Feels just as good. but once you tried IMOS Solid EX, you will never go for other brands anymore. QUOTE(wc_how @ Dec 28 2014, 10:46 AM) But 3rd day now, the speaker below still sound like 80% only. Patience. The moisture will dry off in due time. You can try placing the phone in box with a dehumidifier to dry up the phone. I recommend Thirsty Hippo. I think it will never back to normal again Or i shall dip the the top speaker to make it balance This post has been edited by TOMEI-R: Dec 28 2014, 06:20 PM |

QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Dec 28 2014, 07:28 PM) But to be frank, I might be few of the guys that spent a lot just for a glass protector and oleophobic treated film. I had gone through 5 different brands and I can vouch for imos as the best protector. their protectors' oleophobic properties are extremely durable and smoothest than other brands. So far the brands I had go through : Imos Mocolo Glass-M Remax Premie Imos is the top... |
