I really wish Z4 release late of 2014 or early 2015.
I don't want my phone outdated just 5months. |

New user reporting in. Happy with the phone so far (only 3 days). Even though online reviews complained about the autofocus, didn't have too much issues with it so far (then again, my bar is set pretty low after the pink tint issue with my previous M7).
Anyone here owns a Magnector X2 charging connector? Looks to be a good idea given the flimsy looking "door" of the micro USB connector, so I ordered a couple. Looking forward to Lollipop! This post has been edited by ub3rg33k: Jan 2 2015, 11:18 AM |

Took my z3 to the pool today morning and took some underwater selfies and ALAS the screen is not functioning at all..... flaps all closed as usual and the phone does work , someone even called me and i can answer it by holding the phone to my ear ( nice function so useful)
Immediately i dry off the phone while i panic and since i cant turn off the phone without the screen anyways, i will just let it drain the battery by itself , after a while i notice some fog and water droplets on my camera lens like some users here are reporting... seems to be normal condensation according to what i researched online... So now my phone is in a tupperware filled with rice and i pray that my z3 will come back alive in a couple of days ..... one thing im noticing is the fog is clearing up abit when i placed it in rice for few hours .... Hope for the best then or its gonna be another trip to SC..... Sony should just put the phone as water resistant and not waterproof if in the end youre gonna place a whole lot of hidden limitations that consumers will not know of.... BTW the selfies were taken 15 cm from the surface of the pool so pressure was not the issue... so dissapointed.... |

I tested 3 Z3 so far and all passed the waterproof test, in a pail of water. I guess sony should really improve their sealing technology and avoid using flaps.Immediately i dry off the phone while i panic and since i cant turn off the phone without the screen anyways, i will just let it drain the battery by itself , after a while i notice some fog and water droplets on my camera lens like some users here are reporting... seems to be normal condensation according to what i researched online... When we buying SOny phone, can we ask them to tes the waterproof capabilities first to ensure not to receive the lemon unit? |

@raymondtong94 do you think this issue can be fixed if i bring to SC ? my litmus paper didint indicate water damage thru the flaps so it must be the damn body seals... will they charge me to change the whole panel ? |

My cousin's Z3 was tested on the spot before made the payment. She also used the phone underwater 2-3 times before the mist went inside the camera. My speaker is still 80% volume after dipped with water. Already 10 days. |
