That is true but they could at least wait and release it a week before Christmas or something.
New games won't even be discounted that much anyway on Black Friday.
If you're talking 10-20% it kinda happen all the time in the US after the game is out in a week.
At least on Christmas it could be bought and given as a Christmas present.

Cheesenium So I played an hour+ of Titanfall. Ping has been quite acceptable, around 60ms +-. Think I joined Asian servers. No idea how to join worldwide server since I saw more players worldwide.

Asian servers only Attrition (team death match), other types of matches almost no one (worldwide players were available but somehow I don't know how to join them).

I really want to try the co-op. Probably have to ask and see if a friend or two would join me.

Having quite a bit of fun so far. It's very very fast-paced, with so much mobility and verticality, that's to be expected. Only 6 vs 6 (or 8 vs 8? I kinda forgot), but I kind of like the concept of having NPC grunts running around too, and they kind of scripted some of them in a way that you might run into two opposing grunts trying to strangle each other, or a grunt dragging an injured friend to a safe place. So the battlefield is quite populated even though there's only 6 players on each team.

Annoying problem of MP games is how they end up being mostly about Team Deathmatch. I really want to try the other game mods.. but nope, no one plays them. Maybe I will have better luck at night.

Yup...the ping is a lot better and quite stable. And yeah, the grunts and spectres are like creeps in DotA. Designed to be game fillers and helps you get points. Ultimately, to make it harder to differentiate between pilots and non-pilots.

Agree about the game modes, but I had an easier time getting into co-op games. I forgot which game mode was that.

Talking about Titanfall, I think it was a bad move going for origin. If they went with steam, I think the game will last longer. Just my 2 cents.

I guess AW will improve over time.. BF4 though it took them long enough to make it good.
Things are good already but server aren't that many compared to when the game was shitty lol.
People still play the game because you know.. where the hell can you find a game which is 32 vs 32..

Ubisoft is shit, but Far Cry 4 is damn good if you are into FPS. I'm definitely skipping The Crew.. I don't think i'll have the time to grind for a racing game. As far DA:I i'm getting it once i'm done with Far Cry 4.

So I managed to play a bit of co-op. It's actually very fun! Well, maybe it's fun because I'm still new to it. It's a wave based match against hordes of NPCs. You have to defend a structure for a number of waves with 2 retry chances. I can see how it might get boring after playing it for a bit because it's the same "defend the harvester" in every map. The types of enemies may switch around on different waves, but that's about.

I still had lots of fun though. Smart gun is so OP in this mod. I keep topping the chart when I'm using it. But ended up deciding I should try the other guns since you won't die as fast against NPCs, so it's a good chance to try and practice with other weapons.
