So Elite Dangerous turned out to be crap??
Its a very impressive game with some very good core ideas. The problem is, its really should not be released on next month as a lot of core gameplay features like coop is broken where if I am in your party, both of us will end up in different instance when we reach a new system. Or just drop off the servers when you are playing with friends. If not, your game is filled with mostly NPCs cause the game cant connect other players to your game. The net code is terrible where they need polish. Gameplay wise, I think more tuning needed and more content is needed. It is a bit empty now.
Also, Elite is always online. You need a kinda persistent Internet connection to play it cause the game needs to sync with server when you sell or buy stuff in the game. So that you get the current market price. I don't mind if its a bit lean in content but always online is a massive deal breaker. Kinda want refund now as this is not what I pledged.
I might not have Internet connection next year so I like stuff I can play everywhere.

While others talk about day 1 games being buggy..
I'm here just playing my Nintendo games on day 1, without needing any day 1 patches or bugs.
Heck Nintendo games don't even need to be update at all. Fully polished.
Developers really should follow the old ways of releasing games.
Not try to rush thing and release a gigantic patch on day 1, as well as asking those who paid on day 1 to wait for them to fix shit, that should have been fixed before released. Halo's Master Chief collection is 20gb..and the new one GTA V which was just released on PS4 a few days ago has 1.1gb of patches. Really not sure why everyone needs to rush this days to release their games early.
The reason they want to rush is for the Black Friday sales where you tend to sell a lot of copies on that period. Then also Christmas next month. Once the new year hits, people(at least in US) are less keen to spend money until March so its important to rush for release now to push sales. Considering you won't be selling as much on January to February, might as well push now for more sales.
I actually hate November because there are too many games released at the same time.
