When you go solo, yes the game will match you with pubs. I never tried partying in Titanfall ever...I only went with pubs. And co-op is only 4 person in a team. So quite easy to find games.
Still, how do you set the game to find games on the US server? Or they just match you with US servers if there arent any local games?
Also, EA had just released a $40 Titanfal bundle with Season Pass content.
Project CARS is probably the only game that I said I will recommend a preorder. If and only if you love racing game and want something that might change how racing games are made because Slightly Mad Studios is trying to make a fairly different racing game. It is a simulation racing game where cars are crafted to behave as close as possible to the real one, like rFactor or Assetto Corsa but it will also offer many options for the inexperience sim racers which is rare for simulation games. It is also one of the first AAA level racing game that comes with day and night cycle where you can race in complete dark in some tracks, weather effects that affects your visibility and your tire grip and also mid race pits where you can change your race strategy in mid race. It also launched with one of the largest track roster among all racing games where they will be giving you 40 unique tracks on release and about 60-70 cars.
I backed it since 2011 and been seeing it grow since then. It is almost ready for release now but they push it back until March because they want to polish some features such as UI, minor bug fixing and car physics tuning as they really want fairly accurate driving physics to the real car. The game doesnt crash or run at ridiculous 30fps cinematic frames on a 980GTX SLi rig but in fact it runs pretty damn good on my brother's low end Lenovo Y450. Consoles will probably get 60fps with 1080p. The only problem now is, some of the UI, like the pits UI are shit while some cars are not tuned properly for release. Also, some tracks might have a bit of fps drop compared to other finished track. It is mostly polishing now but we might get some of new content on release as it is delayed where they could finish up more cars.
Bandai Namco is the problem here where they are hired to do the marketing and also print the disc, they are terrible at marketing this game where they arent even helping us to market the game. We had to send backers to conventions and make trailers ourselves because Namco is damn shit at it. Then, they also falsely claim that pCARS has some manufacturers that is unannounced or unconfirmed that also caused some damage.
They also did some major damage to the game now by splitting some content out into 2 preorder DLC despite I had all the DLC content playable in the game. The Limited Edition content will be patched in the future according to the hints by the devs as they cant reveal it due to contracts with Bandai. If only pCARS went with Deep Silver, I think it would be better because Deep Silver can handle non mainstream games better.
If you like racing game, then, I would recommend a preorder. There are plenty of gameplay videos online by backers with the game running on different rig.
heard that studio name before... arent they the one who make NFS shift and shift 2??
shift1 and 2 are great for me so i think PCars must be much more awesome than shift...
Yeah, they are the people behind Shift and Shift 2, also GTR1, GTR2 and GT Legends.
They fixed a lot of issues with Shift 2 like the weird driving physics where you spin out with no warning in that game. EA rushed the game out so there are a lot of bugs in the physics. Now, in pCARS, you can feel that you are losing control before you spins out with audio cues to warn you which is how it drives like in real life according to some real life drivers.
The driving should be pretty damn good as every car is really really quite different with their own unique behavior. They hired ex-Top Gear's The Stig, Ben Collins to work on the game which he had driven a lot of types of cars in his actual racing career. Then, along with F1 champion, Lewis Hamilton's brother, Nick Hamilton to work on the game. Then, half way in development, 2 more professional drivers joined the game, Oli Webb from Sigmatech-Alpine LMP2 racing team which won LMP2 in Le Mans this year and Rene Rast who won numerous 24 hours long endurance race with Audi. Audi was happy with their performance until they release a road version of that Audi R8 that Audi is confident with the car's durability until you only need to do major service at 20k km instead of 10k km for most cars. It is a major achievement because other manufacturer in endurance, like Mclaren and Porsche is facing a lot of durability issues.
There are a few more but they contribute a lot lesser.
And Rene Rast has been using pCARS as his practise for his real professional races.
And he said this about the game's driving physics.
QUOTE
Hi guys, please don't hate each other just because one doesn't like Pcars. So now I tell you a short story : 2012 I started Simracing, did some championships during the winter with rfactor but only had one monitor and a Logitech g25. I asked Fanatec if there's the chance to work together, we found a solution and I went there and by accident played Pcars the first time. I can still remember this moment, I was absolutely blown away by the realism of this game even though it was still in the early stages. After that I went home directly and asked if I could join Pcars. After that I stopped completely with rfactor, drove just some Iracing which I also stopped now, tried AC which I drove couple of times but I just didn't like it. So now I am just focused on Pcars, the graphics are mind blowing , the development from build to build is just like getting a new present on Christmas Eve and the realism - the feeling how the car turns moves etc is the closest compared to a real race car. This is just my opinion and luckily everybody can has his own , so please don't hate each other
So, it should be somewhere close to what racing is like in real life then.
cause it's better........Gov fix fuel price.....kononnya subsidy.... but global fuel prices continue to plummet because US wanna bully Russia.......so without this fix price, we get cheaper oil.
I dont think its what US is doing, as if they are, they are killing their best bet to reduce reliance on their new shale based oil extraction techniques. US, Japan and Australia has a lot of shale oil where if they could come out with an efficient and cheap method to extract oil, we wont need Saudi for oil anymore.
I think its the Saudi screwing things up so that they wont expand on that technology. Those companies who are extracting shale oil is losing millions each day now.
Hmm..looking at Project cars and it seems like a good one...but am I seeing things right? Our Pinoy friends can get the game at just RM60?
Personally, I will only recommend pCARS if you are a fan of racing game who wants a more demanding driving physics or a more authentic game that is much closer to the sport. It is good but its delayed because the backers want more polish and the developers can afford it. The core racing is generally extremely good now.
Where? Pinoy can get it for Rm60? I want cause i'll be buying retail when its out.
On the other hand, Titanfall is vastly more superior than CoD AW in almost every way. I love the speed of the parlor and the combat. Also, a no fuss game without bazillion guns to unlock.
Should have gotten the game early on.

I have my eye on that one for a long time already. But as always when to play all this game is the question. Best to wait for more discounts
It is a pretty short game. About 10 hours I think but do warned that there are a lot of reading. It is a low budget RPG.
Personally, I really like the story as if you compared to other RPGs, most RPGs always made you like the special one or the one destined to save the world. In Banner Saga, it just made it feel like you are an average man who wants to protect your daughter who just happen to lead the caravan of people without keep praising you to be the saver of the world. It make you feel weak and powerless some times when the world is kinda in the shit.
The ending is a bit touching and that ending theme is amazingly done. The soundtrack is done by Austin Wintory from Journey with a small orchestra and choir.
Nice small review.. Ini mau poison I to buy la ni.. Wait..there is gonna be a sequel?
Its a trilogy. Got 2 more games but they kinda delay cause they are bringing the game to the consoles now. Will be on PS4 soon, might be PS Plus if im not wrong.
They also further enforce that you are an average man, you get knock out 2 hits in combat which made the whole protect your daughter part stronger cause she get knock out even faster.
Still, the first game stands on its own well enough. Not much cliff hanger IMO and its quite satisfying.
