It is designed like FTL where there is no fixed events happening each time. Sure there is an ending but the path you take each time is different that adds to replayibility.

If I am not wrong, starting characters are randomised and events are randomised too.

I like FTL after some time so I think this is definitely a game for me. And also, the developers are donating a portion of their profits to charity that helps children at war made it even more tempting.

Play on a tablet if you can as i find it more fun on tablets. Touch screens adds to the immersion while gameplay wise, it plays well in short burst.

I can finish Easy 90% with most ships but Normal is still too hard for me.

I cant imagine how those people win the game on Hard with no shield upgrade and no pause. Crazy.

I beat the game with all the ships in the game on Easy. Normal, i think I only won the game 3 times with 3 different ships.

It is not an easy game as I just cant really turn it around at times if things started to go south.

That is true but usually, there are still ways to turn it around.

I kept reading about China government surveillance as they upload everything from your phone to their NSA-like servers in Beijing. US already have my data and I am not interested in giving my data involuntarily to another country. That really put me off from Xiao Mi. Huawei is banned from bidding for telco hardware projects in a lot of countries for the same reason

I am not that keen with China phone companies because of that. If not, I would have bought One Plus One.

Definitely no Huawei. That is the company that is China government's GLC that is linked to multiple surveillance suspects in telco tender in US and Europe.

They are getting better but in terms of ethics wise, they are still far behind.

I rather be spied by NSA than both NSA and China.

I am concern with my privacy and it is not just spying, they can do all these do your device. China is overpowering us, but that does not give them the right to access everything on your phone.

The recent Baidu SDK found in Sony Xperia Z3 which is the same as the one found in Xiao Mi where the China government can do these:

If that is not a concern to you, then, I have nothing to say because this is literally an open door to all your data and even control your phone. Sony confirmed that they will patch out the Baidu SDK as they admit it is a spyware.

At the same time, after multiple surveillance accusation, even Xiao Mi is moving their data centre to India where they are not binded by some China local surveillance law that we have no idea what is it. Even some Android apps like ES File Explorer uses the same Baidu SDK that allows China government spying.

As they say, either you buy a product for high price or become their product for low price. And I do not want to be their products. China phones are significantly cheaper than Japanese, Koreans, American, and European phones. Why? What do they want from us?

NSA can probably do whatever the fish they want with my phone but why should I give it to another country too? What happens if China gave our beloved government the access to those stuff too? NSA might too but I am not doubling my chances. Or some hackers gain control to these "features" considering how good they are in stealing data recently?

There is one reason I like Apple, their privacy system is a lot better than Android and being a closed OS, it is a lot harder to do stuff like this. Except they are on the bed with NSA but definitely not with China. Other than that, Apple is pretty terrible these days.

No one wins when they go free to play other than the company that does this.

It is a predatory business model in majority of cases.

People cant come in to your house and steal your PC, your TV or your car. Why should you allow a foreign government with unknown interest with your data get hands on your data? Or make money with your data without your consent on taking your data?

At least Snowden leaks with NSA, we knows to a certain extend what NSA can do but with the Baidu SDK spying, we barely know anything about their motive and usage of the data.

Might still get Far Cry 4 in a sale. Looks fun and they did simplified the crafting a bit so it is not too bad now. And they made the world more lively and more emergent events.

TB's WTF on it was pretty good. Except that white pool in the story mission where he got in and cant see anything.

Mass Effect trilogy has so many strengths across all 3 games. And all you recommend is the romance? Seriously?

What about the varied combat? The gameplay? The excellent characters, especially the not romance-able characters like Mordin, Zaaed or Wrex? The world that Bioware created that is filled with interesting races, places and plot? Martin Sheen's performance as Illusive man?

If I never played ME trilogy, I wont even consider the game as you made it as if it is a romance game where I might as well play some well written visual novels instead of Bioware's ham fisted romance. Bioware does romance pretty poorly as other games like Witcher blows their romance out of the water.

Miranda's character is actually damn well written. And that inhumanly impossible butt.

Hated her initially as she seemed like an arrogant officer where Cerberus sent to keep and eye on you but once you talk to her more, she does open up and you'll see the more soft side of her where she is a caring sister. Thats when I really liked her a lot.

That sex scene towards the end is fukken stupid, my gawd. And how Bioware treat her as a throwaway in the third game.

I still think Mordin is the best character in the game, followed by Wrex and Garrus.
