your oil level will continue to decrease making it necessary to constantly top off oil. Getting your piston rings replaced is the only good solution.

If it’s simply not in the budget to replace the engine or car, improving maintenance and using an oil formulated for high mileage engines can help mitigate increasing oil use. But you’ll still continue to lose oil and monitoring oil level becomes extremely important.

Hi, may I know is it necessary to change ATF filter? If needed what's the mileage suitable for a change?

GENERAL : Many manufacturers recommend changing the automatic transmission fluid filter every 100,000 to 150,000 kilometers, or at the time of the main automatic transmission fluid change.
HEAVY DUTY : If you regularly drive in adverse conditions, tow heavy loads, or have frequent stop-and-go traffic, you may need to change your automatic transmission fluid filter more frequently, approximately 50,000 to 80,000 kilometers.
Signs You May Need an ATF Filter Change
-Delayed or rough shifting.
-Transmission slipping.
-Unusual noises from the transmission.
-Overheating transmission.

Only if changing ATF fluid does not solve the issue of unusual shifting, or sounds from the gearbox.
If you have the time and money to do it as preventive maintenance then maybe 200k km. I never did mine. Cause it's smooth till now. I always change ATF every 30k km

Hahaha im getting a 2nd hand Peugeot 2008. Another headache car lol. It's a 2017, puretech 1.2. So far, it's really luck. How to find one that have less issues or at least one that have been taken care of well by the ex-owner.

2. My car Almera 2014 when I turn on the air conditioning, the engine compartment sound very loud. I am not sure if it is engine, or pulley or belt or even the air conditioning issue

if dropping , then must be leak, see where is the leak on the floor. If no leak, then need to change the head gasket

Earlier, I could see all my previous service records in the Nissan DriveOn app, but for the past few months, everything has disappeared after the system upgrade.I’ve already called customer care, emailed them, and even contacted the Puchong branch, but they said their system also has no records.
Is anyone else facing the same issue with missing service history in the DriveOn app after the recent upgrade?
