how much usually does brake pad cost for Almera yeah? almost 40k milleage now and whenever i break sometimes i heard scratching sound. those metal scratching sounds, guess my time is up.

been using almera for almost 3 years. warranty will expired next 2 week. already change fan 2 times. this week just got bearing problem. 1st bearing problem for almost 3 years. milage already 98878km

I'm not sure bout that but I do saw some one posting in the fb group states that there are cheaper and more reliable spare parts besides from the ones we get from Tan Chong. So far no more bearing and fan motor problems for me till now. Luckily signed up the service package they offer earlier so my car's warranty extend another 2 years.

The Nissan service menu price list is pure bs. That doesn't includes the price of eye gouging aircon service, which Nissan will claim that if you don't service it will void the warranty for the aircon.

Also, they like to push additional and unnecessary add-ons like fuel treatment, oil treatment, etc. Remember to always reject that!

'Yup some guys skip acon as its too expensive but looks like have to do it to maintain warranty .
Guess will just swipe my credit card and get the 40km =rm1.4k+ service package

Tks ...Basicaly NPMP add acon only the rest is the normal service item .
4OKM entitle for 2 acon service but not sure what kind of service just change filter or bukak habis

Yup waited 1 month for the parts. Originally was to wait almost 3 months. I called and complained almost every few days, then only managed to replace. But 1 month is too long for replacement of cooling coil. Imagine that time, was haze time, no AC... drive 30km to work...

Very good decision thats is why i m also going to follow the same action after finish my 100k warranty .
Maybe outside engine oil is 4liter pack thats why expensive whereelse Nissan sell 1 liter pack .
By the way initially after changing engine oil i did check using the dip and was really worried they never change as the
oil so thin (cair ) but after doing some reading came to know 0w-20 is the thinnest and ftuheermore  they need to use good oil base .

Oh i just know abt this. Is there any other sessions? Bcause my wife's almera VL is giving so many problems after 2 years& 50k km mileage.
Chronology since collect the car:
1. Exhaust bracket (rattle). Replaced but not covered warranty.
2. Air con belt rosak. Replaced.
3. Radiator motor rosak. Replaced.
4. Bearing. Replaced.
5. Bush stablilizer bar. Annoying sound over bumps. Replaced.
6. Rattling on dashboard & rear seats.
7. Sluggish uphill, gearbox always upshift early.
8. Engine dies off suddenly when driving 50kmh. Happened 2 times already & SC cant detect problem, they just reset ecu. Next time have to check engine wire harness.

I cant remember how many productive days i have lost for sending & leaving car in SC (yes.. for up to a week!).

warm start.. before this quite silent.. now its like my old myvi.. the fan spin sound when idle inside car
