any recommended place to change car battery for almera? (i'm assuming the SC will charge higher)

'Yup some guys skip acon as its too expensive but looks like have to do it to maintain warranty .
Guess will just swipe my credit card and get the 40km =rm1.4k+ service package

I just back from SC. Got cooling coil leaking issues too. Suspected. Need to place the car for at least a week for check up.

al_dot_el ,  what do you mean taking a month to fix ? Meaning SC unable to found of the problem before replace the cooling coil ? Or waiting for parts to come ? So you place the car for 3 days to replace right ? Which SC u went for replace ? Mine service at Kota Damansara.

Service today for 50k cost 365.

Seems like the expensive air cond service I did last service is not helping from cooling coil to fail. So waste of money spent 500 plus for air cond service.

Such a disappointment for this car..need think how to go work without car for at least a week.

Takaful is out of the list since Tan Chong dont accept means if sent to repair must pay cash first then claim back
(troublesome just to save 10% + 15 % cash rebate for no claim )

Thanks. Have to find the equivalent for the engine oil, atf oil, and other parts. Will ask for spare part shop around here.

KL quite alot of spart part shop carry nissan parts. But not in Penang.

Very good decision thats is why i m also going to follow the same action after finish my 100k warranty .
Maybe outside engine oil is 4liter pack thats why expensive whereelse Nissan sell 1 liter pack .
By the way initially after changing engine oil i did check using the dip and was really worried they never change as the
oil so thin (cair ) but after doing some reading came to know 0w-20 is the thinnest and ftuheermore  they need to use good oil base .

Oh i just know abt this. Is there any other sessions? Bcause my wife's almera VL is giving so many problems after 2 years& 50k km mileage.
Chronology since collect the car:
1. Exhaust bracket (rattle). Replaced but not covered warranty.
2. Air con belt rosak. Replaced.
3. Radiator motor rosak. Replaced.
4. Bearing. Replaced.
5. Bush stablilizer bar. Annoying sound over bumps. Replaced.
6. Rattling on dashboard & rear seats.
7. Sluggish uphill, gearbox always upshift early.
8. Engine dies off suddenly when driving 50kmh. Happened 2 times already & SC cant detect problem, they just reset ecu. Next time have to check engine wire harness.

I cant remember how many productive days i have lost for sending & leaving car in SC (yes.. for up to a week!).

i dun like the Almera 2016 DRL as it dont have option to turn off.

Almera quite problematic with a lot unknown sound and they not able to fix it. The only thing i like is space. Anyone know if the power outlet can be modify to clip based or extra power outlet?

Same here i dont see any problem so far with my car, 35k km... still ok. Maintainence, just be smart and insist to remove everthing that is not in the minimum maintancence list. The Service consultant will always advise you to add stuff, claim will be better and some cases threaten warranty void.
Fuel consumption is generally very good on highways and if you are light footed. if you stuck in the city jam, well my guess is to get a smaller car with smaller engine. With daily drive and 10% jam i get about 6.8l/100km.
I got the almera because it was low tech and big seats. and the bonus of low tech car is you pay less.

U use bought 1st batch almera or the facelift one?

it sure is. 999 I can get a pretty good camera with both front and back camera d. this is really a rip off. summore dunno what brand is this and how is the quality. and free 16GB memory card?!

How to know if the motor fan spoilt?

Hi all, anyone know where to change the car key battery? besides going back to service center, and roughly how much would it cost ya?

When i off the engine I can hear the sound of sth spinning and getting slower.. I guess it's normal? N may i knw what's the motor fan for? How I knw it's not running?
