Is your air-con radiator fan ok?

I have experienced the case when the fan is weak, the air-con works fine when driving fast
(because the outside air flow is helping the fan to cool the radiator), but blows hot air at idle.
I think there is a protection circuit that switches off the compressor clutch when it detects
not enough cooling of the refrigerant. This explains the symptoms you described (but not
why reducing fan speed improves the situation).

that's the condenser not commpressor. the compressor is just above/around the gearbox area.

i'm guessing there could be issue within the cooling coil thermostat, or the compressor magnetic clutch not kicking in when it should... or perhaps it's slipping already at higher rpm

nah its something else, because the ori parts (yes including the small condenser lol) is capable of reaching almost sub zero temperatures measured at the vents

ori denso? cincai change parts could also be the cause as the pressure is not to spec.

not to mention, the complication with air cond stuff is that if the compressor is already experienced heavy wear/issues, it could re-contaminate your system, which means your changed parts would require flushing/cleaning again after you change compressor.
*assuming your compressor is indeed faulty and a change is required

do take note, complete ori denso parts for our iswara will cost about 2.3-2.6k ish not inclusive gst
but the temperatures are just crazy
