My friend from Maxis was delivering phones earlier tonight.

Previously someone posted here maxis Ipoh also got stock... Sigh, we need to move north, ha ha ha..

Hey guys, some update on my experience order via Maxis Online Store vs Apple Online Store..

Maxis Online Store:
Pre ordred on 31st Oct, full payment made include advance payment.
Promise to deliver 6th, nvr turn up. Postponed to latest by 14th, nothing shown.
Received maxis call back, globally out of stock, need to wait 2-3 weeks.
Received maxis call again on 17th, said order with BS may proceed self collect.
Went BS 18th morning, even order has not flow in..
Called to Maxis, was told supervisor will follow up and give an update on delivery status by Friday 21st Nov.. now still waiting.

Apple Online Store:
Placed order on 14th when was told by maxis no stock.
Payment debited on 18th.
Item shipped on 19th.
Received Iphones on 20th!~

We have a clear winner!

Woot.... Glad you got your phone. So, you managed to cancel & hope you get your refund in time, dude..

The worse part is maxis branches will not take any reservations or start any kind of waiting list, and they don't even let us know which branch has what models available (DiGi's website shows that info, though I dunno how accurate or updated it is). And then there are some of their Exclusive Partners who have stock but insists for new registration only. Totally BS.

Relax. The billing team needs to update your contract details into their system. Should be glad you got your phone already.

No stocks even for preordered customers, want to make list to make others angrier at them?

True... My friend had the same case.

She called 123 and GDEX and BrightStar mulitple times (at least 6). Was passed around like ping pong ball, here & there. In the end, she went to Brightstar to collect herself.

She asked "How long do I need to wait?". The lady (could be Ms Angel), answered... 10minutes.

Such a painnnn....

Anyway, hope the rest will get the phones soon...

I called maxis yesterday, the CS told me that I can continue use back the old nanosim from my iPhone 5 and don't need to use the new sim card provided though.

Btw, you guys are getting your iphone with MLC or TLC nand ?

Same like me. I didnt use the new one too. Only for those with the microsim or older sim cards.

And I thought need to use new sim also

Not if you are already on the original nanosim from Maxis.
