How do you return what you owe? Let say your in Malaysia, the broker in Europe, how do they come and chase that amount from you?
*
On contract.. you owe them.. and you are liable for the loss. You need to pay up additional capital.

In actual.. many will cabut ... as it will be almost impossible for them to chase you. laugh.gif

Buy rate?... got nothing do to with price going up.

Many buys, at low price as long as lots of seller feeding them don't make much difference. tongue.gif

Wellcall will need cash to build a factory. Which means it will:
- loan money from bank (no longer debt free)
- cut down on dividend

But long term I guess this is a good investment.
*
I posted on that, the cost for building factory 3 is almost all from cash in hand, no need debt. And they are building it at very cheap price a.k.a super kiamsiap chinaman company using in house technology and fabrication. wink.gif Oh and line 1 from factory 3 will be up by end 1Q15. rclxms.gif

Dividend is still sustainable from free cash flow. tongue.gif

See it's no so difficult, isn't it?

Again, it's so proven.... that you simply do not have to rush and chase the stock down....

And currently, also for whatsoever it is worth.....

one would have noted.... that despite oil prices hitting new lows, our local stocks did not. whistling.gif
and oh yeah.... tesco distributed vouchers and have also red CNY paper bags.... barring the theme ...... ONG mali !!!

Last I noted SKPet.... was how much 215? or 216?

Did I buy? laugh.gif

I just talk wind only la....hohoho.....
point is... you do not have to attempt to buy the lowest price to make money....

and coincidentally.....

when attempts to but the lowest price....
they always tend to rush to buy....
and most of the time, they will buy too early...
only to find the stock going much lower .......

and when one rush to sell.....
most of the time....
they will find themselves selling too early....
missing out the big winners....
cursing and cursing.....

remember Inari?
I can't remember who...
but didn't someone sold around 1.20+ ....
thinking it was good gains already?
*
So secretive... hmm.gif

Now all the people see the surge and gonna buy in blindly.. no knowing that price of oil is still very weak.. sweat.gif

Potential ikan bilis trap at this level if you ask me..

So.... conclusion is?

If cannot handle the roller coaster and emotion plus having no conviction better don't trade stocks. icon_rolleyes.gif

Cash all tied up. Invest small small better don't invest la.

But seriously, I like it. Over the long terms I foresee it to perform well.

Fund manager will likely to collect it back, so I believe we can see the stock moving upwards also. Last time off syariah list + the oil price everyone hard selling. When all fund manager was selling SKPETRO, if you track closely they substitute it with UMWOG. The following month, can see there's more buying interest in SKPETRO.
*
SKP and UMWOG is in different segments..

SKP do everything under the sun..

UMWOG is dealing mostly with drilling rigs... which will be first to die in low oil price environment due to less exploration tongue.gif

You missing another segment.. FPSO.. which has went up nearly 25% from bottom, due to multi year guaranteed contract less affected by oil price.. brows.gif

Weak Ringgit (Wilmar is in Sinkapo...report SGD profits, declare SGD dividends)
Strong dollar + floods (good for CPO)

PPB can buy (more) now?

Too many bullet lying around...need to shoot someone/somewhere cry.gif
*
Wilmar profits is mostly tied to

1. CPO - RM based selling price
2. Soybean - USD high - die faster
3. Plantation & refinery - RM & Rp

.. nothing much to do with SGD other than being listed there.. rolleyes.gif

Yes, but every fund have a sector exposure to maintain.

When it dropped off the syariah list, syariah funds have a few months to dump it and hence they need rebalance it. It was UMWOG and Dialog (tank terminal operator - different segments also).

I don't like FPSO business. Hence no Yinson and Bumi Armada for me  smile.gif
*
Dialog is another fantastic company.. not much affected by oil price.. tongue.gif

Due to its nature of storage tanks, with multi year contracts. icon_rolleyes.gif

Apa consumer goods?

Flour milling - exposed to USD risk..
Bread making - see above...
Cinema - see above...

Yes. Not much.. Unless production reduce a lot then we will seen an impact to it.

Another point to take note is that those storage tanks fee are in SGD. So with SGD strengthening against MYR, + point too.
*
Some in RM and some in SGD..

Some thanks especially those with petronas is take or pay.. virtually guaranteed profits.

Those in Johor is wholesale rented to oil traders.. so should be ok for sometime until contract expired. laugh.gif

gark, assuming your portfolio don't have SKPETRO and you have Dialog (price dropped 45% from ur entry price). Would you have average down Dialog, or buy in SKPETRO. Or both?
*
I was looking at dialog recently.. I still think the price is pricy.. PE 30x.. sweat.gif sweat.gif sweat.gif

SKpet at these level and at these oil price is also pricy..
