@Prince J , could you recommend any other adapter that works well with z5? asus, acer.. etc. The adapter that came with z5 is bulky. I am finding if any alternative brands adapter that works well with z5 and smaller in size.

I think any adapter should be fine. As long as the input and output voltage is the same. But I still suggest you use the stock power adapter.

As long as it has same output voltage then it's fine, you need at least 120Watt for your Z5 860M.

Got this z5 last month but just recently got time to play with it

So far im satisfied with the performance only got problems with keyboard

The keys on keyboard seems to tight its hard for me to type fast or to reach specific button due to numpad keys on keyboard

Have to use 3rd party keyboard for gaming n typing

Otherwise its absolutely a steal for gamers

It's 3 months. Today I got my bsod again. Pretty sure last night I did wait until the keyboard LED lights out tho.

What you mean by tight ? Too close to each other or too hard to press ? 15'' laptop mostly come with numpad so bo bian lo.. haha

Hey guys anyone having issues with sleep mode? When I try to wake the z5 from sleep, the display doesn't turn on.. But the laptop still runs fine. So far I've disabled sleep mode but it will be great if this issue can be solved

What OS are you using? Can you try using Hibernate?

im using windows 8.1 pro.. yeah im using hibernate as an alternative now

I didn't face this problem. I'm using Windows 8.1 Pro also. Try check whether there is any driver issue or not. Or try press Fn + 0. That macro key is to dim your screen.

tried that too.. the display never turns on.This issue only came recently. About 3 days ago
