i only played battlefield 4 and watchdog, the keyboard and wrist area are surprisingly cold.
although got two fans but not noisy as i thought.

speaker and subwoofer are damn good, surround effect is the best i ever experienced.

I'm planning to buy one of illegear's laptop and z5 caught my eye.

So any recommendations on what to add? Budget <RM4k, though I saw the price was nearly RM3.8k.

4k budget better upgrade screen (if they have ips) and ssd.

Hmmm how about the diamond thermal compound? Isn't that a necessary as well?

As for the upgrade, IC Diamond is a must if you're planning to game, you can upgrade your screen or ssd but it will cost quite a lot and most probably exceed 4k

consider upgrade your wifi card to N (AC not necessary cuz most ppl don't use router that have AC support)

also warranty.. if you want longer support from them

IC Diamond is a premium upgrade that helps to improve thermal conductivity between heatsink and DIE. Not just re-pasting the thermal compound we also test the thermal conductivity for few hours.

If you have limited budget, I suggest you to consider SSD as first priority.

Z5 fan speed is automatic. You can maximize Z5 fan speed with FN+1 hotkey.

Manual fan speed control is available on our other models but not Z5 at the moment.
