Yes, for apartments up to RM400k in my opinion the developer should include the floor tiles for the common walkway up to the lift area. Most condominiums or apartments up to RM400k even private ones have tile skirting and tiles for common walkway, but that was 6 to 8 year old projects when the price of properties has not inflated.
It is comprehensible if low-cost apartment costing RM100k to 200k come without tiles at the walkway but this one is RM360k to 400k, more so since it is partially funded being PR1MA and not properties from private developer. Anyway the good thing I noticed is the doors and door handles given at PR1MA Alam Damai are high quality (costlier) types. As for the tile skirting that is not given, that may give the owner more flexibility in renovation as some might prefer to have wood skirting that look more modern and aesthetically more pleasing than tiled skirting. |

Shops and terrace facing Klang River and landscaping to fit water activities down the river 3. I am surprised that it shows a double-storey configuration with staircase since it is very rare to have this sort of arrangement in an apartment particularly for an affordable housing such as PR1MA. Since you have mentioned it is a depiction by students, that sounds more sensible now. The layout plan posted here has caused confusion since the member who posted it did not mention anything hence the presumption of an actual PR1MA Brickfields unit was made. This was done by students as a competition among many students as TOD - ROL Afffordable Housing Development. I doubt GDP Architects and Pr1ma will implement much that would be desired due to high land acquisition costs. As a Transit Orientated Development & River Of Life, there's so much that can be done. 1. Covered and litted walkway to Bangsar LRT 2. Shops and terrace facing Klang River and landscaping to fit water activities down the river 3. Bicycle access and promoting use of bicycle due to existing bicycle lane Maybe the purchasers can write in and crowdfund these community projects ourselves. ![]() ![]() I did not look at the amenities or surrounding walkway or external infrastructure scheme done up by the students as I only studied the unit layout arrangement. The architect for PR1MA Brickfields is GDP? If that's the case it is different architect from the one who did PR1MA Alam Damai. The architect for PR1MA Alam Damai is Linea Architect. |
