After end of this year, Daikin will stop bring in split units from Thailand. They will rebadge "York" split units to "Daikin" as replacement in Malaysia market.
Anyone wish to get Daikin products from Thailand need to be hurry up!

All existing Daikin split units will be affected. You can only get "York" designed units with Daikin label from 2015 onwards.

Good in workmanship won't be it happening on refil gas, unless is gas lackaged

How do i know there is leakage/ require refill?

My air cond man just buta2 quote $290 for chemical wash+refill gas for 1.5hp inverter.

Normally wash & clean just around 80-150 only, not need refill gas else, gas won't leak at all..

Even mine over 5yrs still keep same cooling.

Basically inverter are 2X from its HP.
But you can prolong the duration by DIY cleaning, you need to clean the cooling ifns only.

Anyone installed it model ?
