Sharp compressor unit is smaller than York. My friend's house using York, except front master bedroom. Due to lack of space he chose Sharp because compressor smaller. Only then can fit.

So...based on that, if I had space for compressor unit I wouldn't choose Sharp. What are your criteria? If non-inverter, I will choose Daikin GA Cooling King L hands down, every time.

From what I gather from Singapore forums, ME is better than MHI. But MHI cheaper, and I can't find any info on MHI inverter units locally. Do share if you come across any.

Personally having tried Daikin non-GA Inverter (crap PCB burn out right after warranty), Panasonic Econavi super-power-saving-but-not-cold-so-wtf... my next choice would either be a Daikin GA inverter or ME Inverter one. Not worth risking other choices if you're shelling out top dollar.

MHI i heard quite a lot of problems...
MHI is around Rm820 & ME is around Rm1100...
d porice different is very big...
of coz i will go for ME over MIT anitime if budget is not a problem...

If you're really on a budget..just whack the Hisense... got warranty mah..anything just claim lor. Then you can let us know how is it.

if I were you will choose daikin. who say daikin noisy? it's york not daikin. daikin now not noisy.choose made in china one cheapo. if not just whack Gree since Gree the one who manufacture daikin made in china.

Before daikin GA is what = York Malaysia also under GA.

Now to be GA bought over York = Daikin GA, so no more daikin Thailand already.

now d price i got is Rm788 for hisense with installation...
& daikin Rm1099 with installation...

since both have d same basic function i think...

Does the R32 requires changing the piping? I currently have a few pretty old Panasonic aircons which are using R22. Didn't move to inverter because of R410a requiring thicker piping. Any advice?

after all the reading the best bet is getting r32 type aircond?
i did ask some sales staff they don't really encourage to get those r410 inverter cos maintenance and repairing cost is much higher than non-inverter.
other than Daikin how about others, other than China brand recommended such as Sharp?
