I never use AMD. High temperature, low quality chip with overclocked by default to fool buyer. although some really perform well, but still no match to Nvidia.

The Vapor R9 280X is quite good for its price though. A one year older card can fight with gtx970 is quite impressive actually.

P/S: Damn.. TechArmory just announced Titan X has landed Malaysia. RM4499 for one.. Damn expensive doh.gif

You can check out TechArmory Facebook page. They just announced it. USD 999 convert to MYR include taxes is around RM4k something. So it should be correct. Facepalm man, if want SLI then already 9k, can built 3 way SLI with gtx980 already doh.gif

Non removable battery , but don't worry. Won't over charge. With 2 years warranty sure no worry.

Because it saves space. And they want to earn more. A lot of brand is changing to use built in battery though.
They want you to buy the battery from them and ask them to assembly it for you. Replaceable battery is cheaper than Service charge + new Battery

For me, to replace the battery is easy, just unscrew, take the keyboard apart and unplug the battery then done already.

I see. But I thought the performance is more or less the same. The big different is only the heat ventilation. (We're talking about non-reference right ?) Why I said this is because I see the spec of LeadTek 970 and MSI 970, it is the same.
You're quite rich though, Titan X cost $1k USD+. Yet you want to SLI it. How much will it cost. LOL
Is there a 4k monitor available in the market already ?! with 144hz and IPS panel. I thought the current one is only capped at 48 or 60hz ?

P/S: I envy your pocket. You're so rich sad.gif
24GB vram ? vram doesn't not stack like that right ?

i know when sli cant get full performance one...

Some brand will void your warranty for doing so though. So you're forced to buy the service from them to replace it for you.
And not every end user is "tech" guy or have knowledge to do so. haha

Yup, but the battery should last around 4 years. For my old asus laptop, i never take the battery out but for now still can last around 3.5 hours from full charge with browsing internet and for research use.. The laptop is almost 4 years already. so i think its ok.. don't worry dude.

Ok guys. I have the G551-053 and I have a serious question. What is your total partition space in the laptop? When I open up This PC (formerly known as Computer/My Computer), it shows 372GB for C drive and 537GB for D drive. Well as you know this model is 1TB. And I know enough that 1024GB = 1TB. So may I know if any fellow Asus owners of this model have this amount of space or am I bamboozled out of my money?

The only explanation I can think of is that part of the GBs went into the OS and they don't include that in the calculation of the total space when viewed in This PC.

Any ideas?
