Ok guys. I have the G551-053 and I have a serious question. What is your total partition space in the laptop? When I open up This PC (formerly known as Computer/My Computer), it shows 372GB for C drive and 537GB for D drive. Well as you know this model is 1TB. And I know enough that 1024GB = 1TB. So may I know if any fellow Asus owners of this model have this amount of space or am I bamboozled out of my money?
The only explanation I can think of is that part of the GBs went into the OS and they don't include that in the calculation of the total space when viewed in This PC. Any ideas? |

QUOTE(xyz_cityhunter @ Mar 23 2015, 02:31 PM) LOL just came back after a long while and my name has been sullied!! NUOOOOO. Actually I was referring to miong93's rage comic meme character. I've made a mistake though. That's the disappointed "OK" guy, The ForeverAlone guy looks like a potato and cries lol You, my dears, have infinite (perverted) imagination!! Windows 8.1 sucks with all the pictures and squares like dummies at start. When is Windows 10 coming out? This post has been edited by Cherant: Apr 2 2015, 09:45 AM |

Just wanna kind of warn new ROG buyers, DON'T use its given laptop bag and choose one carefully. The zip chips the side corner of your laptop and in turn the laptop's chip will tear a hole in the bag. Now both are damaged. Heart broken.... I know this might seem like a very trivial thing to those rich folks out there, but still it's 4k stuff, and I've owned it barely 1 month and treat it like a baby and this happens.
The chip is noticeable and cuts, and the red side is also dented in. I have no idea what happened but maybe sitting with the backpack on my back. ARGH!! This post has been edited by Cherant: Apr 24 2015, 10:30 AM Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(evum seu @ Apr 26 2015, 05:01 PM) erm, your one is g551jm right? you use that free gift backpack? that bag is quite big and impossible will starch the laptop end a! targus one right? I don't know if it's Targus, but it has the ROG logo on it. Oh well. I may appear to be whining but it's kind of heart-breaking. |
