hey guys,

I've just bought a G501JW-CN117H, the one without SSD.
My itchy hand... I've opened up the back cover and to my happy look, there is indeed a SSD M2 PCIE slot.
Attached Image
Now it is time for me to get one SM951 SSD.

sweet biggrin.gif if you wanna have better warranty support, you should wait for 950 pro (5 years).

oh ok haha

how easy a ssd can be burnt out depends on your usage. if you confine it to common usage, not as storage, it will last more than 5 years.

It depends on how you use your SSD.
If you always do a clean wipe/format, using DD.. then your SSD dies off very quickly.

it will fit (same form factor, same m-key type; i have both). however, it's still better to learn more about compatibility at rog forum.

if you upgrade your RAM and SSD will it void the warranty;
just bought ASUS ROG GL552 - only 4G RAM need to upgrade ASAP...
