I don't know whether this is the right thread or not. But anyways, I did buy stuff from the US. And the seller said he did ship the item on 7th Dec. But until today which is 27th Dec..I still haven't received the item. Is it normal? Because a few years back I did buy from someone in the US also...but a week after I received the item..

Pos Daftar delivery ur item to your home address or Pos Malaysia delivery the card to ur home and collect at Pos Malaysia?

Thanks.
*
PosDaftar service is the same as normal shipping but w/ the added feature of it being registered which means u'll hav tracking code & also requires signature of receiver.

They'd only leave that card if nobody in. However in some cases, especially if high-rise residential add, they'll jst leave it inside ur mailbox. Aka malas tongue.gif

would like to ask, if im shipping soft toys/plushies within peninsular, what should i wrap it with or sud i place it in a box??

not really sure with the packaging .. ..
*
Better pack it in a box to avoid damage. The PosLaju plastic bag itself not reliable

P.O Box address, just use normal airmail with tracking number, means berdaftar. You cannot use courier service/PosLaju since it requires signature..

Uh..that's weird..

Maybe they can do it but of course they will not get any signature. So if the parcel goes missing then its gone..since you can't track it as no one acknowledge it..

But other courier service do not ship to P.O.Box too..unless PosLaju is special tongue.gif

hello people,
I'm in the US now, and a lot of friends has been asking me to buy things for them. the thing is, if I use Fedex or other well known shipping service, will it still get detained by the custom to be checked/taxed or anything? planning to send back some iphones or maybe even *ahem* magazines. your replies are greatly appreciated.
thanks

its free. but i think if you have account with them, can only get a lot. i have a account but didnt use it. they wanted to take my item and processed in their headquarters. so i feel quite unsecure.

No difference, the customs still have the right to check and open up the parcels. The difference between courier companies is just their services..

If you really want check. Just call up to the pos office which is nearest with the receiver. It will be much more faster to track down your parcel. icon_rolleyes.gif

I know about that and yes i have done that...we r now talking about checking online which is better..hassle free rather than listen to the auto voice..push 1 or 2..waiting for the operator to pickup.... sweat.gif
