For now its US only, and i doubt it will ever feature in Malaysia.

Even the list of supported banks and retail channels are US only.

Dont think I will use IPay even if its available here. Call me old fashion, but its really risky to simply perform transactions involving money. IBGs are different as the banks will send TACs to your phone.

Update: I understand now. That option is for Voice over LTE. It enables iPhones to make phone calls using the LTE network, instead of 3G/2G. However it depends on carrier's network technology. Carrier have to enable.

I strongly discourage using apple pay until it matures for a bit. What if an app trick you into using apple pay online? You want to press home button to exit the app, but by pressing the home button you inadverdently authorize the payment with your thumbprint.

Remember how fast touch ID now works.

Just downloaded the update and now updating my iPhone now to iOS 8.1. Hopefully things will go smoothly.

Haha... the update wont brick the phone. This is not android.

In terms of fluidity I dont feel any difference.

Steps to use Apple Pay in an app (e.g. Target):
1. Touch the  Pay button. (It will be beside the normal Checkout button)
2. Then it will show a confirmation page, with your card's last 4 digits, billing/shipping address, and the total amount.
3. Then you have to tap 'Pay with  Pay' at the bottom of the confirmation page.
4. Then iPhone will show the authentication page, with an image of your card (like winkiedilwy posted) and the Touch ID logo.
5. Scan you finger, and Touch ID logo will change to an icon that looks like a tick in a circle. (✔︎)

After updated to 8.1 .. Seem like battery drain fast .. Anyone notice that ? Or just me .. !

Didn't notice any greater battery drain in 8.1. Seems quite similar as before.
Still facing the nagging unable to send SMS problem
Will go over to Maxis center n ask them to check
