Saw SDB reply to a post regarding the earthquake resistance. Equivalent to Zone 2. Wonder what Richter scale can that resist.

On another note. Other than the coconuts, are there any tall trees in WOTP? Don't seem to see those trees in the artist illustration anywhere. or are they planting those later? or are the small trees going to grow to that size in the future? haha.
As you can see. I'm clearly not good with trees.

Hi Ng Sheu Fei, the Richter Scale measures  the “size” of the earthquake at source and would not be the right measure to use on building structures. Any earthquake resistant structure put in place is based on the earthquake risk map and conditions of the geographic place, together with the country’s seismic  design code. For our developments, the design and detail  the of the structural frame is in accordance to the current standards prevailing in Malaysia. Over and above this, most of our developments are designed to withstand earthquake loads defined in Uniform Building Code (UBC97). Although Kuala Lumpur is identified in the Code as Zone 1 we have taken a more stringent view and applied seismic forces relating to Zone 2  (equivalent to Chiang Mai in Thailand, Calcutta in India  and Lahore in Pakistan) by using the computer modelling to assess response of the building to the specified earthquake loads.
SDB first incorporated earthquake resistant structure into its development Park Seven in 2005 and it is the first purpose built  seismic resistant condominium in Malaysia. Thank you.

The last time I chit-chat with the SA, she told me majority local buying for own stay...frankly speaking..I am happy with this...too many foreigners can be susah also...they may form little cliques among their own..may also lead to manyak gaduh..Little "Japan" cannot get along with Little "China"...Little "ang moh" fighting with Little "Arab" ...Little "South Korea" and Little "North Korea" try to nuke each other....habis la WOTP!

I am sure most of the owners want WOTP to be an endearing home for all residents,  young and old, irrespective of races....It was mentioned by SDB MD that WOTP is creatively plan and designed to be a home conducive for raising families and a place we can spend our silver years in comfort....
WE, as owners, will have to ensure that the good quality living environment in WOTP is maintained and there forever!

The architect have calculated how much to put. I believe that amount have to be in line with the soil to put besides for landscaping.
Curi ayam not mean reduce cost by supplying low quality or insuffient materials meh? curi ayam means stealing?? 😀😀

What is the meaning of curi ayam then? Clearly the jog run was lay with crusher run which earlier u said was missing due to curi ayam.

QS is the responsible to calculate building material

Many property investors like us who spend a large amount of money, time and effort to buy the property that we want and then finding it in WOTP, or any other projects, would understandably want nothing but the best from the developers. Is important that, we, as purchasers, should not let our developers short-change us...if they do...we should not let them get away with it!

Any idea whether SDB has started / completed the new show unit?

Planning to go there this Saturday. Will try to get inside and take some photos. Any pointers for me from veteran photographers of this forum?

Got the following update from SDB personnel.

* Current VP target is by end of the year
* new show units target to be completed October
* SDB is still formulating renovation packages for WOTP. Once done will update buyers through email.

Block C looking good after blue sticker taken out. To me it's really good buy.  It does not looks low cost at all
