How do you take pictures so clearly, and what mode? I find my pictures blurry like half the time, maybe because of my hand shaking (or how do you keep your hands stable? lol)

Not sure what recovery you guys using but in twrp, you can select which partition to backup. EFS is one of them. If you did not select it, then no.
*
Which part of TWRP? In the backup section there,s boot, system, data and cache but no EFS.

efs backup is not supported in official twrp.

if want to back up efs, use adb shell or terminal emulator.

CODE

su
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p10 of=/sdcard/modemst1.bin bs=512
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p11 of=/sdcard/modemst2.bin bs=512

backup file will be created in the internal storage and can be flash back using fastboot.

CODE

fastboot flash modemst1 modemst1.bin
fastboot flash modemst2 modemst2.bin

The first thing I did after bought my OPO is back up the EFS first using adb.

Because previously my GTab fcked up (until now) not knowing how important the EFS is.

Better safe than sorry. smile.gif

Can I say thus is par with DSLR?  biggrin.gif

erhm i wont said on par. DSLR still can win in terms of sharpness (want me show u zuiko glass quality? brows.gif brows.gif ) and also dynamic range.

Did you use Clear Image or HDR on these pic you took?

Awesome shoot  smile.gif

Using auto mode only. But i shoot in RAW so i got flexible to edit. But most of my editing only involve in adjusting the curve, add abit saturation on some photos and add a little bit sharpness smile.gif

I am using auto mode. There are few reason photos are blurry and they are inter-related.
1) handshake.
2) why handshake? coz shutter speed is slow (depend invidually, some who has good hand can stabilize better than others on same shutter speed).
3) How to solve? Adjust the ISO. depend on situation :-
i) if you're outdoor, daylight you can safely set to ISO 100-200. If you're shooting action and ISO 200 can't even compensate, it is time to pump the ISO according to achieve the result you want.
ii) if you're in indoor, lets say shopping mall. You can use ISO 200-400 (again, it is very depending on lighting and also how stable your hand is). If it is dim restaurant, use ISO 400-800 unless it is really no lighting at all on your table, no point taking pics. You can try to use flash which i avoid all the time coz LED flash just sucks.
4) Make sure your focus point focus accurately. Or else your image won't turn out sharp.

Just remember, lighting is important key in photography.

Any sifu can add on here or correct me if I am wrong smile.gif

Ya adjusting ISO very important tool in helping to get sharp picture. I understand this method. only hope can have a quick menu to ISO quick setting

how do u mean focus point focus accurately as different 'manual finger guiding focus' at different part of the photo will give different exposure....and at that time, the level of picture output is as good/accurate as the moment when i finger focus it....as result of the inconsistency of my manual finger focus, my output also not consistent for each shot....the situation is worse when under sunlight, the lcd visibility drops vigorously

how do u deal with this?

Secondly, how do u make/adjust that the phone lcd is as accurate as the picture output, especially obvious when each of our phone brightness setting varies each time for each situation....most likely in terms of same brightness...because u have only the lcd to gauge the after shot photo brightness kan

I use watsapp and wechat daily....watsapp for work; to communicate wit my network group, biz partners and customers...and some girls...
Wechat for friends, hobby/interest buddies and girls...so i use both extensively...text very often.

Waze roughly 30mins weekdays (gps device only), <1-2 hrs hr browsing/ mudaing/ posting adverts, cameraing, <1.5 hrs , 30m-1.5hr voicecall
excel; update expenses, budget, investment and my worksheet. Very basic use.

I manual all syncs except auto-sync gmail contacts. Data 2G<->H+ because the quick notification panel there the 2G3G toggles btw data mode extremely fast (fastest phone when 2G3G toggle compare other phones that i've used, very valuable 1+ strength, very appreciate this), but mostly on H+. Wifi all night till sleep. BT all day. Mostly on balance mode.

Was on ART for week, now back to Dalvik for few days d, testing the battery on same usage pattern. I don't feel the speed difference. Reverting time to Dalvik is fast, to ART takes very long.

I see, no wonder I don't see whatsapp in your battery usage.

I agree about ART part, I doesn't notice much difference too. Maybe the phone is fast enough already laugh.gif

Oh, not sure why 1+1 TWRP didn't support, cause they did support for N5. I can see the backup efs partition in the backup option. Never tested this on 1+1 since I wasn't allowed to mod the phone. Oops, my bad.

actually ISO did not increase sharpness tongue.gif ISO is just hep in exposing the sensor to the light. yes agree no quick menu to go ISO setting. Annoying LOL

Yes camera that operate auto mode will give u difference exposure when u focus difference place. Make it this way. Focus on the object u wanna be the focus eg if you shooting human, focus on human, Don't focus on sky (will give u exposure where human become dark), if you shooting food, focus on the food, not the table or drinks.

For LCD brightness, i just turn it on max when it is outdoor day. If i not wrong on new 38R update, on setting you can set phone brightness maximum when using camera.
