then u look for GS 63 or GE 63 oh? biggrin.gif
*
GS63 no 8th gen yet...

So very high chance GE63 with 8th gen...

Now only see if on 1st June, any price adjustment or not after gst become 0%~

What do you think on this matter?

I already saw some online seller sell below rrp way long ago...

Until recently when I finally make up my mind and intend to pull the trigger, gov announced 0% gst on 1st June...

So I text them and ask regarding this matter, they can't give an exact answer as no clear guideline is given...

And few days back our previous FM Tun Daim announce that there will be few months of tax free period before the SST kicks in, so I believe the price might go down further with such situation...

Less than 2 weeks time to save couple of hundreds, I think my old laptop still can hold up and can use that amount to buy other things... tongue.gif

tax free means the gst become 0 % , you dont miss-understand further .

you dont forget the existing stock have 6 % when the seller stock in it.

example the cost for the model is rm 6000 , after gst 6 % is rm 6360 , rpp is rm 6999, they can sell u RM 6700 , still with profit, after 0 % gst, they cant add in GST, so, the 6700 - 6 % gst la, u can understand ? biggrin.gif , now the problem is do the seller willing do so ? cause the GST paid, need claim back from GOV, some will feel reluctant

haha, no need confuse, very simple only

1) current : rm 6000 base cost, + 6 % GST= total rm 6360 total cost of reseller inc GST, lets said rpp is rm 6999, is up to the reseller sell you how much as long above his cost with GST

2) 1 st June - rm 6000 base cost also ,but is 0 % gst = rm 6000 total cost of reseller inc GST, lest said rpp is rm 6999 also, then the reseller can offer u cheaper price then case no 1 , its because 0 % tax, not because the base cost already lower then rm 6000

can understand ? biggrin.gif

- claim back thingy, yes, reseller claim back the 6 % if the stock is already in shop ( dont forget reseller had pay the GST at the current, stagnant stock in shop ) , but you buy on 1 st JUne. they cant bill u 6 %, have to be 0 %...

- u cant claim back GST, unless certain case

For months I've been surveying around, I think GE63 8th Gen will be my final choice...

Though my initial budget was only 4k, and now increased till 7k...

Hopefully this model will last long enough... biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Hi MSI users, I'm not sure where to open a thread about this.. I'm having issue where I can't boot into Bios or even Boot selector. It just stuck on black screen with a white underscore on the screen. My model is GE60 2PE Apache Pro. Have anyone experienced this issue before ? OS running Windows 10 Home edition.

No, do not upgrade the RAM on your own, go to the authorize dealer / service center and get the RAM + upgrade there. i did the same mistake before =w=
