Hei Mazda club member, I'm in the mid of choosing between CX3 / CX5 / CRV. I've seen all this 3 but really couldn't make up my mind yet and appreciate if you guys can enlighten me. I like CX3 but it will be difficult to get its parts since it's fully imported and will be more pricey.

Help me.

Good day guys... Need some advice. Mine is a fl 2.0. Just done about 1500km. At the moment there's a knocking noise at the rear rhs area. When going over bump or pothole the noise won't appear. Only when driving on uneven road the noise would appear. Just want to know if anyone here had experience it before. Would also appreciate if you guys could recommend SC in Klang Valley that's good in diagnosing. Tq.

CX3 too small especially the boot...look sexy n nice but feel not worth the price due to the tiny space plus only CBU available now....if u hv kids then totally nono as most of the mid size stroller cant fit in the boot...only super compact will do....it more for young drivers.....not for family....

CRV only 2.4L come with full spec as 2.0L seem to be kosong on features....comfort for passenger but 2.4L too pricy...design wise some ppls feel a bit outdated d......I doubt the FC can beat Skyactive....

CX5 sufficient boot space....best price even the 2.5L....well known on handling but drawback on back seat which a bit straight up n smaller compare to CRV...some feel 2.0L abit sluggish during pick up due to the nature of fuel saver Skyactive...it need high rev for performance but 2.5L overcome all this lagging issue on 2.0L...feel as smooth as normal 2.0L sedan car.......again Skyactive best for FC...2.5L can hit 500km or even more with just ~45L of R95.....~RM77 (RM1.70 x 45)....

I choose CX5 for the price of 2.5L (2WD) can be obtain below 155k after rebate n NCB....big boot space n awesome looks.....nice handling while my family seem to be ok with the backseat...worst I can just replace the bracket with OEM parts to bring down few degree of angle....plus best FC .. 2.5L 2WD SUV FC and pick up power just same as my previous sedan 2.0L Altis.....

Anyone tried adding Ground Cable for better pickup?

I also thinking if I should install them. Heard hot earth cable helps but expensive. There is also another seller selling super ground cables with only RM150.

Just gotten my CX-5 2.0GL rclxm9.gif

Am considering the Hot Earth Ground Cable VS the RM150 wan too...current idling sound feels like a diesel car. Maybe also cos of the 5-40W semi synthetic oil?

Anyone tried grounding cable? Seller say can put it on and try first. I think once tried it on sure will buy... cry.gif

5-40W is fully synthetic and if you just got your car, the initial oil will not be the 5-40W...

Top up for 5W-40 is around ~RM142 (mine is 2.5L for 4+1L) but please dont do that as I return to SC after 1 week and complain about the sluggist....this oil seem to be not optimize for new engine like Skyactive....

If you wish to go for the Skyactive-D 0W-30 which was told can be use for Skyactive-G too... it will be RM2xx (can't recal; the exactly amount)...not sure how good is this compare to the recommended 0W-20 (not available in Mazda SC, only have in certain workshop)....

I was updated that some Mazda Dealer SC in KL/Selangor area did offered 5W-30 Fully Synthetic......

If you can get 4k discount, then should go ahead if you're looking for pure cash rebate. If you're looking for more than that, may I recommend you a 2015 unit or a 2.5L instead ?
