Thanks, everyone, decided to buy this morning so missed out on many of the later posts, anyway, was happy with the purchase and don't mind losing out a little (the salesman need to feed their family;-))... So looking forward to taking delivery in the next couple of days! Thanks again!

QUOTE(bimmer @ Jul 8 2016, 11:54 AM) Are you using 19"? Maybe because of that. You can reduce the tyre pressure to help a bit. Otherwise avoid pot holes and drive slower in the mean time. Is Michelin P3 good tyre for CX5 2.0? If not, any good recommendation? Going to change tyre soon....

Hi there, interested in getting a new CX-5, can I find out CX-5 2.0 facelift is tuned to more comfort driving or more sporty type ? would it be bumpy over uneven roads ? How is the ride comfort on the 17" rims ? Tested driving the car before but did not have much real experiences for longer ride to test uneven roads.
How is the road and wind noise of CX-5 facelift when driving 110KM/H at NS highway ? How is the comfort level as compared to CRV ?

QUOTE(Loreki @ Jul 8 2016, 11:33 AM) Hi all! Joining the CX-5 club here. Took delivery of the 2.5L version last month. One thing I notice is the ride is quite bumpy (after several complaints from passengers at the back). Any idea if changing the stock toyo tyres help? Waiting for it to wear out.. As a rear passenger, the 19" rim ride comfort is noticeably worst than the 17" rim.

Going to change tyre soon.... changed my Honda Civic tyres from Continental to Michelin PS3. Provides a better ride comfort, more added silent cruising and a better grip at a cost of durability.

Somewhere in PJ near the Federal Highway. Your sales/service person should know

CX 5 facelift is tuned for a slightly sporty driving but not anywhere near within the realms of harshness. A little bumpy on uneven roads. Ride comfort on 17's is pretty good on stock tyres, very good balance between handling and comfort. Road and and wind noise at 110km/h is good. CRV wins in the comfort department at the cost of handling

QUOTE(killallmods @ Jul 21 2016, 02:14 PM) mazda skyactiv engine in overseas markets are recommended to use 0-20 engine oil. but if not mistaken malaysia service center using 5-40? Will this harm the engine? The car will feel heavy with 5W40. I will seriously question the SC for using an oil that is different from the car manual. In Black & White which I will then forward to Mazda Japan.

Can the semi-synthetic last up to 10K KM ? or every 5K KM have to go back to SC for another engine oil replacement ?

Generally speaking a heavier oil like 5W40 "suck" some power from engine compared to a lighter 0w20 oil. Generally speaking, Synthetic or Mineral base oil is not the determining factors when it comes to when to change oil. Generally speaking it's the quality and quantity of the additives inside the oil that matters.

Bermaz never give the best discount if you compare to dealer. Bermaz may give you 1k discount but dealer can give you up to 4k discount as example.
