Can be edit through system code but only few guy can do it w/ the require software and OBD2... just like how they enable back door auto without require any add on module....but not recommended for istop hehe

Actually if the feature provided but we dont use then seem to be wasted hahaha!!
Since on or off battery lifespan also no different then the only impact will be for engine mounting, if it can still cover by 3 or 5 yrs warranty then shouldn't we just let it on and claim through Mazda warranty for 1st 3 or 5 yrs hehe!!

you have a point there

hi everyone, im thinking to get HRV or CX5 CBU 2nd hand 2014,
but worries about service, coz after 3 years no more free service from madza, would like to know how is the service & spare part fee?

i like CBU mazda cx5 because of the sunroof actually,
Cx3 bit smaller for me, and price over budget.

hope someone can give me advice so that i can make up my mind.

no need to think

not sure if this has been asked before here:

after replacing the Q85 battery on i-stop model, do we need to re-calibrate the car / battery settings ?

Dear bros sekalian....what is the cheapest way to soundproof your CX5? I find the noise once you go above 100kmh is quite annoying...
*
ear plugs in your ears

joke aside...i don't think there's any cheapest way, i think the question would be "the most efficient way"

Cheapest way is door seal rubber but I feel not efficient as just minor improvement.....full car soundproof including floor, roof, door, boot etc will be much better but will cost u easily 2-4k plus entire car need to tear down....hahah
*
for me...the noise is bearable...

i rather use the 2-4k money to upgrade my rims + tyres to 20"

I beg to differ.. How would you know such when the car hasn't been launched yet. If the CX-5 is built & launched here as per full specs like in AUS (Akera variant) and priced similarly or less than the CRV. The CX-5 should win hands down in all but space on the CRV. Unfortunately and as history has shown, it probably won't. However, if it did... They'd corner the market immediately.  smile.gif
Actually, we can carry on discussing here. Report what we can... Summarily, launch is no more than 2 months away.

i am just baffled some people can judge based on only 1 testing and immediately came up with a conclusion

2 questions...

for current owner..
RON95 or RON97?

for new owners..
machine gray or sonic silver? i somehow feel meteor gray looks better than machine gray which need +MYR2k for premium colour but too bad no meteor gray this batch..
*
2.5L here...

been using ron97 from the start
planning to drive the car for 10 years

If current cx5, have to test to find out.. Incoming? Obviously we don't know. Though there are comparisons online for both in countries where they've both been released. So watch/read a couple to find out more. Problem you might have with such is that, most if not all cx5 comparisons with crv were done using the 2.5 variant.
IMO, it's a family CSUV and 0-100 time while important, ranks low below the following... The feels:
*How effortlessly it overtakes on a flat or uphill road.
*Descent control.
*Able to quickly move and maneuver easily from standstill incase one has to avoid some out of control vehicle crashing into it.
*Able to go around a bend at descent speed without rolling or toppling over.. So far, the Tiguan does this quite nicely. Stays planted.

To me, these are what I generally test for and compare on the road. At most, 0-100 time would be good for pulling out of the toll gate. Won't be doing drag races.  biggrin.gif
*
he's specifically asked for "power" mah...so i suggest check for acceleration loh

not those characteristics you mentioned...haha

cx-5 ftw
