QUOTE(cybpsych @ Dec 8 2014, 10:23 PM) There is a slight difference between transaction/swipe vs merchant claim from bank vs posting to CC account. In each swipe, the transaction is captured by bank. This transaction is left unclaimed (floating) for 7 days. The merchant need to claim this transaction. Once claimed, only bank can post it to your CC account as successful swipe. If left unclaimed past 7 days, the transaction is failed and removed from your account. Add on another 1-day delay for HLB Connect to refresh the account details. Posting delay with HLB sometimes a double-edged "feature". Good to shift the swipe to next calendar month/bill date (u swipe today but wanted it to get posted later). Bad if you're betting the transaction to be posted in current calendar month (to hit 10x RM50 swipes). I'm with the former method, usually swipe on bill date or last day of the month so that it get posted for next bill or next calendar (cashback reset) if cb already full. I'm buying time to repay the bill That's why merchants are being advised to do settlement daily.

QUOTE(mentalkronik @ Dec 9 2014, 11:13 PM) Want to ask regarding yearly fee and GSt for this WISE card. How much need to pay? can waive or not? Can try, but not all can get. That's why you need to get gold instead of platinum. AF is rm160 only and with GST of rm50, you need to pay rm210. By spending sharp rm990-1000 every month, the effective cash back is 8.25%. Any amount lesser than what I said, the lesser the effective cash back.

They were asking about the most basic questions, where all of it is inside the first post. If they had asked a more advanced question like that, then it would be fine
