I swiped less than <1k past 1 year on my HSBC card...

Only Citibank absorb for me unconditionally. I never pay them since the implementation of GST.

Regardless of when you swipe the card, as along as the posting date is in October, it will be under October Cash Back quota of RM100 and to be credited on 28th Nov.

hlb wise is all about "posting date".
