what do you mean by this card can only spend  RM900-1000?
*
Why you want to spend more than rm1000 or lesser than rm990 on this card where it only gives you 8.25% of cash back and no other benefits?
Just say if you only spend rm500, that's only 5% of cash back.
If you spend rm1500, cash back also same at 5%.
And with rm210 of AF and GST that you must pay, assuming if you always spend rm500 a month(that's rm6000 a year), you are getting rm600 of cash back.
After paying the fees, that's only 3.25%.

Just to correct on your calculation :-

RM500 x 12 = RM6,000

Cash Rebate = RM600

Net Rebate (RM600-RM210) = RM390

Effective CB Rate (RM390/RM6000) x 100 = 6.50%
*
That's if you are taking rm6000, I'm taking rm12000 icon_idea.gif
For a person that can only spend rm500 for a credit card every month, their spending won't be falling to the preset categories. Taking this in to account, the actual cash back are much lesser.
As I said before, this is good as 2nd card only with your average spending about rm1500-2000 a month.

Any transaction that exceed Rm50 can be considered as one of the 10 entries to trigger the rebate? Or they need to be from the categories chosen?
*
2 main rules to follow for cash back to work :
1. swipe 10 transactions with minimum rm50
2. any transaction also can, when rule no. 1 are followed

But to make sure you are getting maximum cash back :
1. swipe following your preset categories only
2. hit the rm990-1000 1 week before end of month

In some sense, this should not be your first card.

Does the WISE card AF really cannot be waive? It is worth to try call the CS to waive it. Total in 2014 I spend around RM17k with this card.
*
You may give a try but chances are slim.
And you shall be spending rm12000 or slightly lesser, not till rm17000.

QUOTE(splinter @ Jan 11 2015, 08:54 AM)
If i just got the card but want to terminate it after 2 month can?

Because just read thru all the term and condition here which the agent dint mention much.

I dont like where you need swipe 10 times x rm50 a month in order to get the 10% rebate.

In this case better use back my citibank cash back 5% without much term condition and waive AF
*
Again, please don't use 10% as calculation, the actual cash back are 8.25% only.
1st year you can get AF and GST waived, yes you may be getting ~10% of cash back.
2nd year you must pay for GST and AF some can get waived and most are not.
3rd year I'm waiting till my April statement to confirm.

The RM50 service tax can be waive??
*
In your dream yes, in reality no.
Only first year you can get GST and AF waived, 2nd year onward GST must pay by your own while AF being waived are case by case. If they are waiving your AF, they won't charge you and reverse the charge like what other banks are doing, which will shows in your statement.
3rd year I'm waiting for my March(or April) statement to confirm, still get AF waived or not.

Thank for the clarification.
I should have went to sushi king during the last day of December 2014 whereby i need 1 more transaction to fulfill the min 10 transaction per month.
Instead I went to The Store Taman Kok Lian, KL  because I heard it was using HLB terminal but at the cashier it seem to be a MBB terminal.
And end up it was posted 2 days later and it doesn't fall under groceries category. Aih...
*
Nope, even you did the transaction on 31st, 30th or 28th,29th(Feb), you may still lose the requirement of minimum 10 transaction.

Usually Maxispay is D+2 minimum.

Yes I may lose it if it get posted next month. But if it get posted the same day, which experienced by some of the card member who swiped at hlb terminal e.g. sushi king, then I am able to fulfill the requirement.
I hope I am on the right track.
*
Nope, I won't take such risk at any 1 time. Last time tried before on the store using HLB's terminal also the same.

QUOTE(CalvinCLK @ Jan 27 2015, 07:49 PM)
They will take any transaction with RM50 above right? Including Paypal?
Ya. Paid once today, no more rebate.. too bad.. Now I have 10x.
*
Plan your spending in systematic way, usually get the first 10 transactions within 10 days will be the best.

Also, this card you shall spend rm950-1000 every month. If can't, then better get other cards instead.

i can see in the online statement now,

That's why I do not encourage people to spend with this STUPID card towards end of the month.
And their online service's down time is the highest compare to other banks.

Excuse me guys, I'm a bit confuse with the Aeon Purchase for Wise Card.

Just want to ask did any one have experience shopping in Aeon (Mid Valley)?
Is it the transaction under Groceries??

Sry for inconveniences.
*
You need to check on their website, some don't get cash backs even it falls under groceries.
And their price are not cheap most of the time, suggest buy in other places. MV got AeonBig also what? Sure can get cashback thumbup.gif

Based on the above, only pay on time will not incur additional 6%. For people that are paying minimum, they will be enjoying average 20% of late charges.

i will be charged annual fee next month. may i know who successfully waived the annual fee so far?

this is my third year annual fee. first year waived and second year, after i call also waived. i feel hard to waive it this year. if cannot waived, better cut the card o not? pls advice
*
So you were 1 of the 5% lucky fellow.
No harm to give a call if they charge you, but don't put high hope.
If you have to pay also, then the cash back is 8.25% if you only spend rm950-1000 sharp on the selected categories hmm.gif
