I accidentally spent RM985.73 last month and it brought up the effective cash back to 10.14%. whistling.gif
*
That's good. This month I only spend on groceries and petrol, so is rm992 thumbup.gif
But after I sell the Milo out, it is about 10% also icon_rolleyes.gif
This is something the card center won't tell sweat.gif

Urgently need advise which shop for groceries, petrol, mobile category will get posted the same day? I mis calculated this month required one more transaction....today is the last day already....
*
Don't worry, you may say bye bye to your cash back, as non of transaction will be posted on the 31st as you meet few criteria for HLB to deny your cash back :
1. already end of month
2. minimum 10 transaction not met
3. and the can use the T&C on posted date

Out of 3 above, you can choose 1(but HLB are using logic "or")

Just got my latest statement.  Got charged RM 160 annual fees and RM 50 government GST. Called customer service to ask for waiver and was told no customers of WISE card are given waiver due to this card already giving monthly cash back.  Just to check if this is the case for everyone here.
*
1st year sure get waived for both, 2nd year GST must pay, AF case by case(if they waive, it won't state anything at all when they are charging GST), 3rd year I need another 3 months to confirm.
Mine are 2nd year get AF waived directly.

I think there are very very few people get waived for AF.

Waiting for your good news.
*
Yup, indeed very few.
But from 3rd year onward, if I'm not getting also I don't mind, since I never use 10% to calculate my cash back, 8.25% as calculation.

You can try, I heard Store is using HLB terminal.
*
Nothing to do with the terminal, have to depend when they do settlement. If today they are extending the business hours, then they will do later sweat.gif

I don't really understand what it means. My poor English...
I just worry they calculate wrong again.
Example it means like :
Statement 1 :  31 Dec - 27 Jan : 20 x RM50 petrol = RM100 rebate ( will get on next statement)
Statement 2 :  28 Jan - 24 Feb : 20 x RM50 petrol = RM100 rebate (RM100 from January statement) , This month RM100 only reflect on next statement.
I had problem with Hong Leong Wise card many times before as they miscalculate my rebates. They pay me back rebates later after complain... Their CS is good... got reply and feedback...
I even do an excel containing all transaction. May be they miscalculate mine transaction again. So need call back again.
It made me very confusing. Some rebate not rebate to me but i let it go lately....no call complain as i get free pensonic thermo pot (last time promo swipe how many amount get free)and pensonic tower fan(i don't know why they give me .. may be i swipe ngam ngam on their promo).

The WORST THING 2nd year i had to pay RM160 annual fee + RM50 GST. The GSC card waive for both. This card good for no need queue during buy food and beverage...
Can't waive...
*
Basically their system are kinda poor, so I'm allowing HLB 1 week before end of month.
For your 28th to 31st transactions, they may post it on the same month, my case were 28th of Feb transaction coincidentally posted on same day when I already spent rm1000. Then another case was posted 3 days after transaction where my quota of rm1000 not reached. Not to mention a transaction took 9 days to get posted and another later transaction at the same place got posted before this 9 days sweat.gif
To avoid disappointment and confusion, now I try to hit my target by 20th.

Starting the new year with Milo stock pilling, rm29.88 at Giant.
Just pay my Maxis bills using Maxis Pay and done 8 transactions, no OTP sending error or what ever issue. Looks like it will have issue only when reaching end of month.

summation of all transactions per category, then rounded up to nearest RM1.

to get best "kiasu" return, in each category, try to hit total amount with RM5 (e.g. RM105, RM225, RM385, etc). This way, the category total will always round up in the cashback calculations.

this can be done easily with Mobile and Petrol, a pain to do with Grocery  laugh.gif
*
Nope, even with groceries you still can hit it, just do some estimations. On last transaction, buy single item or items that don't have **.99 or **.88.

already tried 2 days back. sometime can, sometime cannot.

from shelf price, can hit ngam ngam amount that i want (RM11.45). when checkout, one of the item got discount (total RM10). i was like... FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU  laugh.gif  laugh.gif  laugh.gif
*
Getting rm10 discount are better than STUPID's 8.25% cash back whistling.gif
I still remember I bought my wife's pads, price stated is rm8.30 but when paying rm1.99, that's 76% off. So what I did was go back and whack another 10. 5 packs was sold to a neighbor at rm5 each thumbup.gif
Instantly gain rm15 even better profit margin than my rm30 Milo shocking.gif

Ok i gotta know that my card been terminated. I called to ask for waiver, cs say cannot waive for cashback card. I request her to submit the request to waive the annual fee otherwise will consider to cancel this card. She said centre will call me in 3-4 working days on approval of waiver.

End up nobody call me and my card is terminated. Rubbish.
*
HLB's card center are very good in taichi especially when you are making request for them to spit out money back to you.

I have few auto debit with this card it's troublesome. So now I feel the situation change I've to call them back to request for reactivate the card and also not sure if the annual fee still applicable even though they terminate my card.  shocking.gif

What am I doing sad.gif
*
You should know that this card can only spend rm900-1000, can't be more or less.
Why still want to auto debit it? As it is diluting your cash back.

I see.
Anyway, even with rm160 of AF and rm50 GST, you still get 8.25% of cash back, which is still the highest.

I know, agent told me gst cannot waive when i apply so I'm OK to pay that since been told upfront. It's not correct for them to directly terminate my card.

Now surveying citibank/hsbc credit card.
