it is totally up to you bro.
I believe most of us here including me that are waiting for local release are crossing fingers to get it on launch day be it lining up midnight or order it online.
How long it will be out of stock has never crossed my mind before, maybe i am positive thinker or i dont rush to get it.

Therefore, it is up to you entirely whether you want a local set with warranty with a risk of waiting for another few months or
you can get it from the states without having the risk of waiting for another few months but sacrifice the warranty.

So which is your priority? Getting a new phone asap or warranty?
You decide  flex.gif

True. Agreed totally.
I recall back in 2010 when iPhone4 was first launched in Malaysia.
It was quite havoc at the Gardens and I was tuned in to this forum to get frequent update from forumers lining up.
Since I'm in Penang, I waited it up. On Monday morning (2 days after the launch at KL), I woke up at 7am to start lining up at the Maxis Centre at Seberang Jaya.
To my surprise, I'm the 2nd person in line. No one was really hard up to get the iPhone at Seberang Jaya area. By 9am when the Maxis Store open, there were only about 20 ppl at the queue.
On that day, I got myself an iPhone4 32GB. Very proud of it back then. Brought to office that same afternoon showing off to everyone in office.
While on the same day back at Penang Queensbay Mall, ppl are still queuing like nobody's business.

Fast forward to present day. iPhone6 has really made an impact compare to previous iPhone 5 releases.
I'm seriously considering to get one, but of course with the right price. I don't want to burn a hole in my wallet in the end of the day.
So, I'm patiently just waiting for news from Maxis, most likely will sign up 2 years package deal.
Then when the day comes, I will just start lining up again at 7am. thumbup.gif cool2.gif

Is it easy to remove or so difficult? I have neo hybrid on my Nexus 5, so hard to remove.

I live in the city centre in KL, so I've a feeling queuing is totally out of the option for me. I shudder to think what it'll be like at Maxis KLCC.

Plus I'm a pastor, so I'm not so free to queue, haha.

The best I can do is probably spam the online store as soon as it's up.

They gave the option to purchase outright from them during registration of interest, something they never repeated ever since. I don't even use maxis back then, apparently there was some miscommunication, so to avoid PR backlash since it's widely publicized they gave me one.

Never changed my phone ever since, and now hopefully I get to upgrade my phone during the launch, this time at apple resellers sweat.gif

They probably got better at it now over few launches. thumbup.gif

haha i remember ip4 launch at The Gardens. me and my friends reached at 11pm. got our phone around 4-5am and slept for a few hours before going to work. it was madness and the processing is very slow. we almost left at our first 30 minutes haha. after that day we promised that we won't do that again. yeah i agree queuing up sounds silly but it was an experience.

ip5 at Cap Square was better. went on the 2nd/3rd day (Sunday) 6pm. no Q. took us less than 30 minutes to get the phone.

no plans yet whether to Q or not for ip6. we'll see.

Well my friends, you could call me foolish but this is called the Iphone Buying Experience which I personally think that every Iphone fan should go through. The Hunt, the early morning long queues, anxiety of not being able to get, one, the screening of this forum on the availability of the iphone is actually quite amazing.
Frankly speaking, I already got my Iphone 6 for this round as I couldn't bear waiting for it anymore, but somehow this actually brought down the excitement of owning the phone through getting one through long, endless queues. sweat.gif

Is it easy to remove or so difficult? I have neo hybrid on my Nexus 5, so hard to remove.
*
if u know the method, it wasn't too hard to remove and put in.
normally, u will put the phone into the rubber case, then the bumper case.

actually u can slot the bumper to the rubber case first, check neatly the frame really clicked in, then slot in ur phone from the botton section, then push in the top section. voila... to take out, push out the bottom part first.. then the top.

p/s: all time spigen neo hybrid series fans, experience learned fr. iphone 5, iphone 5s, galaxy s4 and s5. but ip6 neo hybrid add a bit bulk.

Should be yes.

Any reason? Does it have the logo printed on the phone?

Because if I visit US I want to be able to use Verizon. Can't do that with a T-Mobile iPhone, only with a Verizon one. Verizon has LTE outside major US cities usually, T-Mobile sometimes don't have.

My home is actually close to Maxis Seberang Jaya as well.
But I've never queue up to get iPhone before early in the morning after my first smartphone which is the 3Gs where i got it with data plan package when it was first launch.
No hassle during 3Gs as it was a clean and simple purchase guess it was not that popular during that time, i showed off my phone in college because i am the only person with touch screen Apple iPhone in the class back then.
(P.S. I worked part time for the fund parents never supported me a single cent.)

But i did lined up to get an Apple product before, the popular iPad 2. Same case, i woke up 7 am in the morning and queue in front of Switch at Sunway Carnival and there was only few units available not even 10 if i remember correctly.
I was the 3rd leaving with my iPad 2 while everyone else in the line watching me walk away with it. (Best experience ever)

Now for the 6? Hmmmm.... i will do what i have to do when the time comes.
