Local launch is imminent!

I do find the battery lasting is kinda random atm, sometimes it will last me till the end of the day for my 6 sometimes i need to charge at around 2pm already. Basically doing same thing reply whatsapp, line, browse, make a few calls.....

Finally, my iPhone 6 Plus has arrived. Time to prep my previous iPhone 6 for the wifey.



p/s: it's really really difficult to find a nice casing for the 6 Plus.

for those who jumped from 4/4s to 6 (not 6+), do u see this as big improvement in terms of screen size experience?

To be honest, I rather feel that my Iphone 6 is slightly laggy when opening and closing apps and its not as smooth as some android systems especially the better ones like Cyanogen Mod. Coming from the CM11s, I feel that Android has developed well and the performance is on par with IOS. Maybe Apple needs to put in maybe 2GB of ram to make the running of the IOS system a bit tad smoother. I dont feel the advantages of smoothness in UI unlike when we had the Iphone 4 and 4s and even 5 and 5s over android at that time. Maybe its just me or is Android well developed nowadays to give IOS a run for their money.
All along, since the Iphone 4, Maxis has a seperate plans for Iphones called the Iphone Plans. Never knew the reason why I find it a bit weird as consumers prefer to purchase their iphones from Maxis with their plans. Just look at what happened during the 5s launch. Other providers simply had ready stocks of the Iphone but people still waited for Maxis to stock up. However, Maxis LTE is unrivalled in internet speed. 

hi guys.. i just bought iphone 6 at taiwan. just want to ask if anything happened to my phone then how i want to claim the warranty. i understand that apple got worldwide warranty coverage but does it including iphone?

True. Agreed totally.
I recall back in 2010 when iPhone4 was first launched in Malaysia.
It was quite havoc at the Gardens and I was tuned in to this forum to get frequent update from forumers lining up.
Since I'm in Penang, I waited it up. On Monday morning (2 days after the launch at KL), I woke up at 7am to start lining up at the Maxis Centre at Seberang Jaya.
To my surprise, I'm the 2nd person in line. No one was really hard up to get the iPhone at Seberang Jaya area. By 9am when the Maxis Store open, there were only about 20 ppl at the queue.
On that day, I got myself an iPhone4 32GB. Very proud of it back then. Brought to office that same afternoon showing off to everyone in office.
While on the same day back at Penang Queensbay Mall, ppl are still queuing like nobody's business.

Fast forward to present day. iPhone6 has really made an impact compare to previous iPhone 5 releases.
I'm seriously considering to get one, but of course with the right price. I don't want to burn a hole in my wallet in the end of the day.
So, I'm patiently just waiting for news from Maxis, most likely will sign up 2 years package deal.
Then when the day comes, I will just start lining up again at 7am.   

Guys, please don't quote me for this as im just sharing reliable information from reliable source on Maxis Iphone 6 launch. Received acknowledgement that the phone will be launched end of October by Maxis.

whatsapp is now under google, they could care less if you are suffering under iOS lol

well since can used  whats ap .. that limits iphone for only iMessage  ... just how  many millions of Malaysians used iMessage ?

It was superior years ago .. .when IBM still makes Mammoth Databases and every other things is  proprietary. Not anymore today  since everyone is gong for open source and freebies spells all over it.

Whats  Ap users can surpass iMessage users in ten fold.

this one i don't get it. look at the text box where you will type will know already. it will say iMessage or text message. regarding sms charges, navigate settings > iMessage > turn off 'send as sms'. this way, if iMessage fails to send it won't be sent as sms and iOS will tell you message not sent.

my aussie set able to claim warranty at service provider in penang. but need to pay to replace the phone cause water damage. they gave me a new set
