Nope. Verizon is required by US law to sell all their LTE phones factory-unlocked, even on contract.

*
So is this mean those Verison unit can be used by our local Telcos??

Gdex took nearly a week to deliver my phone after I received courier notice. Be patient n wait for it. They keep saying Lazada had not sent it yet while Lazada insisted it was sent over n Gdex yet to update their system.!! Bad experience buying from Lazada

Spigen Neo Hybrid case are pretty neat but they make the iphone bulky and thick and they cover up the back part. Had one for the Ip5s but not this time for the 6.

IMO, Iphone 6 should be used without backcovers as this would hide the curved front bezel from view which is the best part of the Iphone6. nod.gif

Hey guys. iPhone 4s user here looking to upgrade to an iPhone 6, gold, 128gb. I'm probably gonna hold out for the Malaysian launch for warranty's sake, but how long is the wait probably gonna be before I can get my hands on one after it's launched here? I imagine it'll run out of stock really really quickly. Would there be a preordering system online or by phone? If it takes too long I may end up just getting it from the States when I go at the end of Nov - should have plenty of stock there by then. What do you guys think?

Since you have mentioned for warranty sake, why do you plan to get it from the states?
So far local release date still dont have any clue, i believe no one here can answer that.

Usually there will be ROI from telcos to confirm but not 100% can get though. Unless you wait till midnight sharp for MY Apple online store to buy.

I realize no one knows the exact release date. I'm asking for opinions on how long you guys think Apple Malaysia would be out of stock, based on previous iPhone release trends.

I'm holding out for warranty 'cause I'm only going to the States at the end of Nov, when it would be launched in Malaysia by then, so might as well get one with warranty. Buying it now would incur a premium, either from middlemen or shipping. Buying straight from the States would be cheaper.

But if it's gonna be out of stock for months after launch in Malaysia and I can only get it in Jan next year or something like that, I'd rather just pick it up when I get to the States in Nov. Dunno if I can tahan two more months with a phone that sometimes cannot slide to answer, lags like crazy, and lasts less than half a day. yawn.gif

it is totally up to you bro.
I believe most of us here including me that are waiting for local release are crossing fingers to get it on launch day be it lining up midnight or order it online.
How long it will be out of stock has never crossed my mind before, maybe i am positive thinker or i dont rush to get it.

Therefore, it is up to you entirely whether you want a local set with warranty with a risk of waiting for another few months or
you can get it from the states without having the risk of waiting for another few months but sacrifice the warranty.

So which is your priority? Getting a new phone asap or warranty?
You decide flex.gif
