Instead of putting what you want to say in multiple post. Please make use of the edit button. It will easier for all other readers to browse thru this thread also. Or else, you will let ppl think that you are trying to accumulate the total post count. notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

Btw, still considering whether want to change to iLauncher, using SPB Pocket Plus now.. sweat.gif sweat.gif

WAD is a nifty today screen program which makes you screen look very much like a windows pc desktop and you have unlimited ways to customize it. There is a forumer called Deltaflyer who uses it a lot and you can tell that the designs are mind-boggling.
Here are some examples of WAD = Wisbar Advance Desktop. "Expea suite" is one of the better known themes created by Micksjo from SBSH Forum...

I've never thought of keeping SMUT in my card and thank god I didn't. When I lost my Mini, all they got were pics from my family and friends which I am still worried about......Imgine the worst like how some ppl like to keep vids of them and their GF...... whistling.gif

Anyway, I'd like to have a high-speed 4GB card too. But the higher speed won't matter for our PDAs. Mostly keep all my Songs in it. MTV's and funny clips finishes up the remaining space.... laugh.gif

So WAD is Wisbar Advance after all... I downloaded the latest version 2.6.0.8 but gave up on it after a day cos I find it too difficult to use la. But I must say the Apple theme you showed created with Wisbar really looks beautiful. How on earth do we do such things? Is it like Photoshop? Everything seems so nicely done from the top bar to the background color to the creative icons. Gosh perhaps I should learn how to use it. Anyone good at it can give pointers?

As for keeping those type of stuff in PDAs... I think it's really dangerous cos it may fall into the wrong hands and the finder may even use it to blackmail us back. Not to say we are prone to losing stuff but better be prepared for it. Also, many ppl tend to be curious when we whip out our PDAs and may ask to lend them to see. So in the course of exploring how beautiful ur Mini is, they may find other beautiful stuff too... tongue.gif

Actually its easy.. just click on the shortcut on today screen and hold it till a menu appeared. Select Change Image and browse to the folder u store the images. Click OK after you select the folder and everything inside the folder will b displayed for your pleasure. Easy ma.

2ndly, if you want to change the action when you clicked on the meter, just goto Options. Anyway, there is a reminder that I would like to mention. Ever since I started using different icon for the shortcuts, I noticed that after a long period, when you tried to access iLauncher options via the tap and hold style, it tend to hang. No such problem when accessing through Programs>iLauncher Settings>iLauncher Options. Weird. Okay, anyway, goto Options. Search for Meter Settings in the drop-list and select On Meter Tap. Change the setting to Goto Control Panel/Folder. That will redirect memory tap to memory settings and battery tap to power settings.

To make the X bcome CLOSE button, try to search for Task Manager settings from drop-list. Select X button closes App and enable it.

Its all there. You just gotta fiddle with it. iLauncher is actually very easy to use. Its not as user friendly as Pocket Plus I assume (since many still not very used to it) but it is exactly like what you expect on a PC. Since most of you are familiar with PC, all you need is a little bit of time to look into the function. Oh, and if you think the icon is too small, hold on it and select large. 30minutes is more than enough to realise the true potential that lies within iLauncher.

Setting that I think are most important:

1. Safe mode.. useless.. i suggest turn it off..
2. X button closes app..
3. Memory and battery tap open up Control Panel
4. Default shortcut to Large Icon
5. Bold text for Caption.. useful cos text is small and not cleartyped.

Actually its 2 programs at work. The top bar is controlled by Wisbar Advance v2.#.#.# and the screen and icons are by Wisbar Advance Desktop(WAD). I tried it once with my O2 Mini, but when somebody tried calling me and my phone wouldn't ring, I stopped using it. WAD took a bit of customizing as well before it worked smoothly

O2 XDA II has 3 variants which are the O2 XDA II(no wifi), O2 XDA IIs and O2 XDA IIi. All 3 are 3.8" screens and running WM2003. O2 XDA II Mini is the baby brother and is only 2.8" screen size and has no wifi.

Here is another one ...
Ever wonder if u can ever uninstall the unwanted things in ur today plugin ??? look no further ...

user posted image

How Today Plugin Uninstallation works

* Today Plugin DLLs are loaded during the Pocket PC boot & they are never unloaded (even when you deactive the particular plugin)
* The uninstaller has to remove the related registry entries (the DLL is however still unloaded from the memory)
* A Soft-reset may be required to finish the process (or) a particular Windows Message has to be posted to reload the today plugins which will release the DLL without requiring a Soft-reset.

Cleaning your Today Screen

* As Today Plugin DLLs are loaded during the Pocket PC boot & they are never unloaded, some times normal Uninstallation process may not uninstall the Today Plugin as the DLL is still in use
* Use Today Plugin Uninstaller in such cases, where developer has to provided a successful uninstallation script.

Get it here thumbup.gif
