Salam guys... im just wondering is this scenario considered bribing?

A= salesperson
B = person in power

A goes to B for promote A service that he can conduct for B customer. A pricing is 100.. the B said he will promote/use the A service for his customer if im willing to put pricing or payment collection from the customer at 200.. the difference gives back to B through payment .. can be considered consultation fee la or anything..

Is this still considered bribing? Anything that relates to the service will be followed up by B

This looks like a simple business arrangement to me, like you said, a consultation fee, or agent's fee. In exchange for marketing your products to his customers, you pay him a sum of money. Its like payment/fee for his services. Or share of profits. You can think of B as your partner in business, or agents.

I dont give fatwa, at all. But this is a simple straightforward basic problem. Doesnt need a mujtahid for this.

It would be a different case if B were a government agency and the customers doesnt know that B is getting kickback.

I just want to remind myself. Be grateful on what you have now as Allah can take away all the things that you currently have in a blink of an eye. Whether it is your wife, son, daughter, mother, father, siblings, or your wealth and health.

Assalamu'alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اسْتَعِينُوا بِالصَّبْرِ وَالصَّلَاةِ
Wahai orang-orang yang beriman,
jadikanlah sabar
dan solat
sebagai penolongmu,

إِنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ
sesungguhnya Allah beserta
orang-orang yang sabar.

(Surah Al-Baqarah 2:153)

The case may be different if B is a person in power that can force "something to happen"

For example, B is a doctor. B subscribe the medicine offered by A, instead of C, because of wanting to get that additional 100. Then this is not allowed, though I am not 100% sure it can be categorised as a bribe.

Rasulullah s.a.w. bersabda,

"Jika salah seorang daripada kalian mengantuk
ketika solat

hendaklah dia tidur
hingga hilang ngantuknya,

kerana apabila solat
dalam keadaan mengantuk
dia tidak menyedari,

mungkin dia bermaksud
beristighfar
namun
boleh jadi dia mencaci dirinya.”

whenever at funeral i listen to the talkin, i can't help to think that it is more of a reminder to me rather than the dead;

In Riyadush-sholihin, this hadits is classified as weak (dhoif). We cannot really use it, therefore.

(btw, Riyadush-sholihin is on google play books, can search through it)
