Assalamualaikum to all our fellow muslim brothers

I feel this year Ramadhan has a special meaning for me

I actually became commited to do pray and yet to miss any of it ever since Ramadhan started

It feels like it already become a part of me and i feel anxious if i dont pray

May Allah bless all of you the same...

Assalamu'alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh

Daripada Malik, daripada Yahya bin Yahya, daripada Said bin Abu Said Al Maqbari,
daripada Abu Salamah bin Abdurrahman,

Abu Salamah bin Abdurrahman bertanya kepada Aishah,
"Bagaimanakah solat (sunnah) Rasulullah s.a.w.
pada bulan Ramadhan?"

Aisyah menjawab,
"Rasulullah s.a.w. mengerjakan solat sunnah
baik ketika Ramadhan
atau di luar Ramadhan

tidak lebih dari sebelas (11) rakaat,

Rasulullah s.a.w. mengerjakan empat (4) rakaat,
kamu tidak perlu menanyakan
kualiti dan panjangnya solatnya,

setelah itu Rasulullah s.a.w. mengerjakan empat (4) rakaat,
kamu tidak perlu menanyakan
kualiti dan panjangnya solatnya,

kemudian Rasulullah s.a.w. solat tiga (3) rakaat."

Aishah bertanya kepada Rasulullah s.a.w.,
"Wahai Rasulullah,
apakah anda tidur sebelum witir?

Rasulullah s.a.w. menjawab,
"Wahai Aisyah,
kedua-dua mataku memang tidur,
namun hatiku tidak."

(Hadith Muslim no. 1219)

Eid mubarak, akhee and ukhtee...

We in Qatar celebrate eid al fitr today... only 29 days fasting for us.

Like before, people were waiting for the announcement after Isya prayers. When it was announced (online), you can sense the atmosphere of joy. People were smiling and talking. The Imam smiled, got up and walked away (to his home, I assume).

Gone are the days of praying tarawih & qiyam al layl in congregation until 1 am in the morning. Back to the old routine, praying 5x a day and staying but for a short while in the masjid. Less and less people will be seen in the masjid opening up the Quran and reciting, some in their hearts, some quite audible, and a few that stand out annoyingly. Now no more will I see the ramadhan tents packed with laborers and workers, believers or not, waiting for the call to prayer to start eating. And sadly, work resumes full time now, instead of half-day. No more going home early and resting in the afternoon for me.

I actually feel sad that ramadan is over. First time I ever felt it. Sure the hunger, the thirst, the erratic sleep hours can be abit unbearable at times, but the blessings and rewards for the ibadah done far outweighs the cons. Plus you experience an elevated spirituality you dont experience any other time of the year.

May Allah allow us to experience another ramadan, ameen.

Salam everyone.
Wanna ask sth about the non Muslim political guy that distribute sedekah issue. Some /k say it must be fully Islamic in the whole chain. From A to Z. Is this true?
Can you involve a courier company that is non Islamic? Is it ok?
Same goes to Hajj. Can you have non Muslim pilot flying the aeroplane for Hajj?

hard to say since a lot business/ money transfering involved with Non muslim.
I remembered last time talk about this, ustaz told me just ensure sumber halal 100% masuk perut..
others u can use serv your car.. pay others as long as not related to food and effect darah dalam badan...

same goes to this issue, non muslim sedekah kepada zakat..
zakat to manage separately.

but this case just politic issue.. no problem for non muslim coming to give sedekah for muslim at surau..
surau / masjid rasanya bukan Tanah Haram / Masjidil Haram.

this philsophy make it worse when PAS manage it..
jadi lah penunggang Agama and ada yang megambil kesempatan atas nama Islam..no offense..

just my 2 cent..

Erm please understand, syarat sah bayar zakat, salah satunya beragama islam.

Non muslim bagi duit/zakat(including political issue) = bersedekah (tiada tuntutan dr segi syarak).

Setiap sedekah dr orng islam atau pun non boleh diterima oleh orng islam (zimmi won't harm muslim/it's not like okay I give u money for apostasy)

And yes indeed salah satu fungsi zakat untuk membersihan hasil pendapatan (money). Waqi' kita skrng, ramai diantara kita bekerja dngn non muslim.. Boss kita non muslim.. Let say now I work for A bussiness as IT exec , but at the same time my boss ada multiple businesses(kita pun xtahu source dr mana, halal haram ka) , sometimes boss bayar gaji bukan 100% dr business A, yg aku tahu kerja aku halal tapi aku tak tahu boss aku bayar gaji/bonus aku dr sumber business yg mana satu. It's different from if aku kerja kedai jual arak.

About tanah haram, even Jurists got different views. Better follow ja rules yg dah ada. Tp kita terbang dr malaaysia ke jedah dulu kan, what if negara yg penduduk islam minority dan pilot yg ada semua non muslim dan what about journalists yg nak buat documentary about mecca, xsemua journalists beragama islam.

Daripada Zuhair bin Harb, daripada Muhammad bin Al Mutsanna dan 'Ubaidullah bin Sa'id,
daripada Yahya bin Sa'id, daripada 'Ubaidillah, daripada Sa'id bin Abu Sa'id,
daripada ayahnya (Abu Sa'id), daripada Abu Hurairah,
Nabi s.a.w. bersabda,

"Seorang wanita dinikahi
kerana empat (4) perkara.
Kerana

1) hartanya,

2) keturunannya,

3) kecantikannya,

4) dan kerana agamanya,

maka pilihlah kerana agamanya,
nescaya kamu beruntung."
