i got a question..

to take money out from ur trading account, u have to call ur remisier to transfer the money to ur account??  vice versa as well?
*
Yes u have to inform your remisier. Diff broker has diff policy, so pls check with your remisier what is the procedures. Likewise when u deposit money into your trading/trust account you also need to inform your remisier to trace the funds and ensure that it is credited to your account.

Even online.. you have to go through remisier/broker.

Just that online trading rate is cheaper than calling/sms the remisier/broker.

You can do either one...

so does that mean i will not be able to play contra? am i still bound by T+3 rules?
*
Contra does not use margin. Margin means borrow money and putting your stocks as guarantee with no time limit.

If you are new to stock investing, please dont try contra, otherwise you will burn your fingers. wink.gif

Lets say the dividend is 2 sen per share. And the current stock price is 3.00. You bought in 1000 shares at 2.50. How do you calculate the dividend?
