unless it is hobby, else i think no point to wc, since ryzen can only do moderate oc. better use stock cooler and spend the extra cash on other component.

Ya, when I first into WC, I change water every month. On my last build, didnt change water for 5 months   
Good enough air cooler tower quite cheap only.

First build, using distilled water but can see water change a bit every one/two months. Not sure if radiator didnt clean properly or distilled water not pure enough.
Second build using colored coolant, but I dont have those addition ( to prevent rust or mold those stuff ). Last weekend dissemble whole WC unit, tube and reservoir got a bit dust/grey-ed ( like fishtank never wash )

Might be following not-good-enough guide, so I only flush the brand new radiator with distilled water once.

Much to learn, I want to learn hard-tube but seems too difficult for me now. Not enough patience I think

For the heat flow out, was it the cooler not good, that it didnt absorb heat nicely from CPU ? 

Sudden spike high might be normal, but will the temperature reading drop suddenly as well ?

Erm, sorry, just tested again, feel hot on hsf surface when touched under 83'c XD
My mistaken, but the cpu temp is drastically increase and drop when open chrome with only forum.lowyat.net from 35 ish increase to 48, after few secons, will maintain at 37.8+-2'c.

12 powerphase from x370 killer SLI? actually its 4x2 doubler for CPU and 2x2 doubler for SOC, the latter is useless cost u wont use too much for soc... as oc, for soc 1.2v get u highest only below 30w pull from soc.

The important is 4x2 for cpu, but current ryzen limitation of OC wont draw u too much as well, in next 2nd-3rd gen, dunno XD
Still its good temp for mobo vrm section than B350 range for OC below 1.45v @@

Ehm, maybe ryzen need calculate and adjusment result of temp? XD There's some analysis stated that maybe ryzen cpu is lower temp that its screen, even there r no  more offset.

Guys, just oc-ed my AMD Ryzen 1700 to 3.9 Ghz with 1.344 v ..
Is this good? My temperature is about 40+ at normal usage and 60 when i run prime95.
I did not try further so far. Not sure if I should for everyday usage.

My Corsair LPX Vengeance also can oc till 2933 only, whenever I put 3200 my computer will kaput, and then run infinity boot loop lol.

Yeap, on top of that, the distributor here in Singapore offers 1 to 1 exchange for the first year in the total of 3 years warranty. I think it's worth getting it!

Typically it detect and shut down before points of no return. Chances of fried are low, Intel/AMD dont want you to RMA their processor 
Too much heat will degrade processor in long term, but that's really loooooong term. My i5 2500K OCed ( 4GHz ) and no issue for more than 5 years 

Yesterday got my mobo from rextech, ASRock X370 Killer SLI, halfway building only, tonight continue and hopes tomorrow can start test games    also OC

I hope malaysia got more distributor which can directly RMA with them @@ I only triend RMA WD by sent to penang, and get 1 unit refurbish within 1 month, and just get repair my friend Asrock mobo throught Dotatech and get the mobo by 1.5 month due to need repair the socket of pin spoiled.
