Had a run with the Fury X a few days ago, no problem at all.

The Fury X is one awesome card.

Performance wise it is not as the 980Ti, the consistency is not there BUT what you get is a piece of card that's different from the rest.

It's a small box that sits on the PCI-E socket, linked via tubes to a radiator unit.

DO NOT use this on small casings.

The model from PowerColor is retailing at RM 2699 quite alright for the performance you get. The card is cooling so (inb4 people say VRM scan not properly cooled) the internals of you casing doesn't get heat up.

I donno what's this AMP stuff (first time hearing) but I'm set XMP profile on my ASUS A88X-Pro so yeah, I think it'll work just fine with XMP.

R9 380 is price of a GTX 960 but faster.

Aim for the R9 380 4GB though, 2GB loses out a little when the game uses more VRAM.

ehh, GTX 970 is only RM 1399 cheapest.

I've used the HD 7970 / R9 280X / R9 285 and whatever else out there and if you're like me - you'll find that R9 380X is far from being amazing.

In fact I find it rather ridiculous that card of this performance is priced at RM 1.3k range these days when you can get an R9 280X used for RM 600 and still get similar performance.

Even 2 years ago this performance was already available at RM 1.1k range.

For AMD camp, a little over RM 1.5k and you can get an R9 390 8GB which I think is of better value.

Correct but fact remains that the performance is nothing new. For AMD the thing I have about their system is that HD 7970 = R9 280X = R9 380X!!!

And mind you, HD 7970 was 2012!!! That's why you see many reviews, they carry the same sentiment. It's nothing new. Nothing to shout about.

If you can get R9 380X at around RM 1,100 range then I think it's pretty alright, especially when you bring price to performance ratio to comparison with others around.
