QUOTE(llk @ May 4 2017, 08:07 AM) Initially wanna pull the trigger to buy gskill trident z rgb 3200mhz c14 16gb kit, but look at the price at around rm950 ship to my door step make me think twice, better just stick with corsair at the moment and hope the ram price will drop soonest (although slim chance). I will check again price in June cause has friend come back from US probably can just tumpang him to save some shipping cost . And i don't think ram will affect the cpu oc capability. gskill ram dun install their official rgb program, seems got ppl fried out ram due to its rgb program will change the initial data and rm easily die, but may face problem of warranty....

I would say non, all dealers just want the initial business but after sales service like shit! But inhave heard alot of good experience from Idealtech, myself never bought from them yet so not sure how true is it?

QUOTE(eDwanD @ May 4 2017, 08:51 PM) Wont fried out easy @@ I run 83'c under aida 20 minutes, havent fried yet.... In reddit, ppl think tat ryzen under 90'c should fine for stress test. Dont worry.. if the temp too high it will auto shutdown. Got one time i wrongly install cooler the pc on for 1 minutes then auto turn off. then unable to on due to cpu temp high.

Chances of fried are low, Intel/AMD dont want you to RMA their processor Too much heat will degrade processor in long term, but that's really loooooong term. My i5 2500K OCed ( 4GHz ) and no issue for more than 5 years Yesterday got my mobo from rextech, ASRock X370 Killer SLI, halfway building only, tonight continue and hopes tomorrow can start test games also OC

I found something is weird, i have mentioned before my OC 1700 idle temp was fluctuated between 30+ to 40+, after i change to Asus C6H the cpu temp (same OC & voltage setting) dipped down to 20+

QUOTE(Someonesim @ May 5 2017, 07:52 AM) Just realized that you choose X370 killer, i think is much better than MSI Arctic board that using B350 chipset. For the temp, i have updated to the latest bios for both borads, i still feel that is the mobo sensor itself. This post has been edited by llk: May 5 2017, 08:05 AM

It is better, more SATA port, more USB port, more power phase components, 2 M.2 slot ( 3 if count for Wifi card one ) and 3 RGB LED head. I wanted tomahawk arctic for the white board theme, but cant bear the wait anymore as I got all necessary components already ( slowly gather up to few weeks ). Choose Killer SLI for the white RYZEN IO cover and 3 ( THREE ! ) RGB LED header

QUOTE(Lurker @ May 5 2017, 09:12 AM) Which Aio comes with am4 support at the moment? As per chatting with rextech staff, many does BUT require AM4 bracket. For them, ID-Cooling and NZXT both got bracket ready ( or order-get-next-day ), I believe Thermaltake also. Didnt know if any product already shipped with AM4 support out-of-box.

QUOTE(Lurker @ May 5 2017, 09:36 AM) Mean existing owner of ID cooling /nzxt need to pay extra for the parts? Not entirely sure, some brand offer free bracket ( paid for shipping ) some need pay for bracket itself. Better check with shop or supplier.

Pls share your OC experience afterward
