What i can sum up is R5 1500x is basically 10% slower than i7-7700k at half the price.  :thumbsup:
But on par/better than the Core i5 counterparts. Dont forget R5 is unlocked cpus compared to certain i5 which is locked

4.0g at 1.45v the temp just horrible when doing stability test even though im on watercooled, the cpu itself shootup to 80+ degree Celsius

Today updated BIOS, then proceed to test my DDR4 sticks, sadly only can reach 2400.
Failed with XMP enabled, increased to 1.375V, SOC voltage to 1.2V ( tried dangerous 1.22V also failed )

CPU overclock also another failure.
4GHz enter Windows, run OCCT few minutes and temperature shoot to 80 degree and auto shut down already. Tried different combination of 3.8GHz 3.7GHz 3.6GHz and different voltage all same, differences are time required to reach 80 degree. 3.4GHz and 3.2GHz stable, but I dont like the temperature, 60-70 degree.

With Samsung B Die chip finally able to run at 3200mhz

FE models, Zotac AMP models, and ASUS Strix or whatever models are 2-PCIE cards that can do 4 just fine, though it'll get roasty.

That's why 4 card users often just settle with water blocks.
