Hi, wanna check if my understanding is correct. If following this Maybank gold rate:

1) The conventional Maybank Gold Investment Account will have 4% spread

2) The Maybank Islamic Gold Account-i (MIGA-i) will have 2% spread for below 100g

3) The Kijang Emas will also have 4% spread based on the 1oz coin

So can I say the among these 3, the MIGA-i is more worth it? Assuming just buying/selling online, not redeeming the physical gold.

ive read about import tax online and gold bought online overseas and fedex here wont be subjected to tax, confirm? Planning to get Perth Mint coins that arent available locally here.

you need to check what HS CODE perth mint is using @ custom clearance.

There is no import duty on anything gold and silver bars.
However, there is duty on silver coins.
