I was reading the first post of this thread and the table indicated that all the banks allow for physical gold withdrawal rather than cash. Is this true? I kinda read/heard somewhere that only KFH allows for physical gold withdrawals.

Thanks in advance!

No lah... Boss Ronho, all just passing from left hand to my right hand and ended into your pockets... I hv just debris left....
That's why bear time or bull time is always good time for me. I just meet my hedging plan, then pass to forumers if there are good deals....

But really, central banks seem run out of bullets, global "sharks" are taking their steps into hedging now..... expect to pay higher premium for physical precious metals in near future.

if you trust the Dow/gold ratio, it's still a good time to get some, the trend is up now though we keep seeing it going down again after shooting up but its low is higher than previous high so far..
if you're like me, waiting to the final big drop before going up drastically, then keep waiting for it to go down to around 1K... but probably that'll never happen too..

it's too stressful to think of making profit out of gold investment for me, I just set a target of getting 1kg each for my kids before going to grave and that'll be great

1Kg for each of your kids? When will that be?The gold price might not stay the same then and you might have missed out the cycle to dispose of it to get the best returns..

It's like wealth accumulation. Up or down the price shouldn't matter much as it's meant for passing down to the next generation. Something like property or land etc but much more liquid.

Well planned! This is the correct mind set in precious metals "investment".

That is good but it's also important to learn or at least know about the history of the "cycles"..
