Can you screencap the supposed page? Does the Super Pack Plus merely bundles the existing channels? To me, it's a scam if they just add 2-3 existing packages to the Super Pack and name it Super Pack Plus and gain extra money from it.

Does this mean super pack will still maintain? Only if want additional channels then can subscribe to super pack plus?

I think the only new package in the Super Pack Plus 1 is the "ASTRO PLUS" package. Most probably contain of the HD channels already on Maxis-Astro IPTV and new HD channels. Other packages such as Indo Pek, Metro, A-List, baby TV etc are considered "same old".

do you guys realize that recently Astro been practicing on self-censorship more frequently on TVB dramas air in WLT?

they have blurred out the gore scenes, the "nudity" poster, rude words (not even profanity)

looks like they are even more asspicky than RTM/Mediaprima combined

Probably not because PLUS PACKAGES such as Metro, Mustika and Indo Pek are listed separate from "ASTRO PLUS" in the Super Pack Plus 1.

Someone on FB said he received a letter from ASTRO stating that starting December 1st, there is RM5 increase on Value Pack and also RM5 increase for HD Service.

Rest are the same except for SP PLUS launching December,I did try the package calculator there seems to be some increase between PVR/HD fees as u had noticed,lets wait next month maybe that increase is for those HD channel versions coming up

yes. Hd service will see RM5 increase. They better bring new HD channels (not their in house like bolly one hd) to justify the price hike.

New? I doubt it mostly I guess will be HD from current SD versions including some new from own kitchen To justify the increase In House channels may go HD

WTF Those so-called new HD channels (AEC HD, Shuang Xing HD) are just the upgraded versions of the SD ones and they charged extra RM5 for that?

Local programmes currently showing on Astro Quan Jia HD will be pulled out from that and aired on newly-launched Astro AEC HD to simulcast with Astro AEC SD. I foresee that the same restructuring will happen to Malay channels (Astro Ria, Astro Maya HD) too.

I received a letter from Astro informing me that HD service price will be increased by RM5.
Also, in the letter, it stated 8 new HD channels:

1. Hits HD (CH 720)
2. Fox HD (CH 724)
3. Astro AEC HD (CH 306)
4. Astro Shuang Xing HD (CH 307)
5. Fox Family Movies HD (CH 430)
6. Fox Action Movies HD (CH 434)
7. Diva Universal HD (CH 723)
8. FYI HD (CH 736)

These channels will be available to me (These channels will be available to me (Astro Byond customers who are currently paying extra RM20 for HD services) from 16/11/2014 to 28/02/2015, after that the access to these channels will be based on the subscription entitlement.
