Rooted nexus cannot update thru OTA? ADB sideload to 5.0.1 finally.
However just noticed that the screen shutdown by fading effect. Not really like CRT tv like previous 5.0. Am I the only one had this or update did this?

Yup. Rooted phone will fail during OTA and sideload update.

Screen off is fading effect for me as well.

Use Nexus Tool Kit to reflash boot.img,system.img and recovery.img,after that try to do OTA, work like charm for me..

Hello all. My n4 with 5.0.1 batt drained fast now, duno if the batt is aging and dying.

why dont sell it as a whole phone?

it has always been bad since day 1, do u have greenify? 5.0 and 5.0.1 seems not much difference for me..

The batt life was better than now, maybe batt's health condition time is up??

usually after every major upgrade, there are many background activities such as scanning and sync-ing. i'd let it settle in a few days before start monitoring for battery usage.

in my non-scientific observation, lollipop has better battery life than kitkat.

Good to know it bro, hopefully it get better battery life after awhile, let's see.
Also, now with lollipop the WiFi always keep dropping, very unstable, argh, very frustrating..
